These people are thieves
These people are thieves. Do not use your own money to send them clothes that they will never pay you for. Period.
Response from Swap.com - Online Thrift & ConsignmentJun 13, 2019
Hello Luke, We sincerely apologize for any frustrations in selling on our site. When shipping in items, you incur an inbound shipping fee for each box you ship in. Our process is to deduct those charges from your sales proceeds, which allows you to not have to pay up front. Once your inbound shipping fees and any other surcharges are deducted from your proceeds, you will then start to see your profit. If we can be of further assistance explaining the details on your specific account, please reach out to our Customer Service Team at [email protected] or via phone at 630-296-0146. Sincerely, Jen - Swap.com

I was totally surprised to read such…
I was totally surprised to read such negative reviews on the BBB web site, but then I am only a buyer, not a seller, so therein may lie the difference. For several months I have purchased many items (the last being eight beautiful tops) and have loved everything. Only a couple of times did I get items that didn't fit well (certain brands), but the cost of purchasing the items was so reasonable that I simply donated those to a local shop for homeless children. Items always arrive clean with no "used clothing" odor and often appear to be brand new. Swap.com has saved me hundreds of dollars on well-known brand names I prefer, but can't afford to buy at store prices. Love, love, love this web site!

Newbie Loves Swat.com!
My first experience with Swap.com was great, even though the two pairs of boots I ordered didn't fit; I had a code for free shipping and printed a label for free return shipping. Since I ordered the wrong size (my fault) I received a full credit instead of a refund, which is fine as I intend to do more shopping on this terrific site. Customer service was quick, knowledgeable, helpful. I have already placed an order for another pair of boots, a half size larger - hope they fit!
