Purchased the Sur La Table 5 quart… I Purchased the Sur La Table 5 quart braiser instead of Le Crueset thinking I would give it a try. Much heavier than Le Crueset but what was awful was the enamel began scratching after 11 months being used on low temperatures, rubber utensils, and cleaned with cast iron enamel cleaners. I reached out to customer service at Sur La Table, since the product is still under warranty, and was told it is not covered by the warranty as it was normal wear and tear. Also, there is a bubble in the bottom of the pan but that is not a manufacturer defect. Excuse me? I was offered $10 for my trouble. Le Crueset will replace your pot(investment) if there is any chipping, or disruption of the enamel. Sur La Table should not mislead their customers and compete and price in an arena that you cannot withstand. To update this post, I was contacted by customer service and was offered a replacement. I am currently awaiting a tracking number for delivery.

One glass arrived broken in a set of 4 and Sur La Table refunded the set. I sent an email and received a very prompt response, from a human!! Thank you, Jonathan Rodriguez! I am currently filling my cart with some other items at Sur La Table. This type of customer service makes me a repeat shopper.

Worse "cooking class" ever! My fiancé and I went for a cooking class on a Saturday evening, thinking we would learn something and have at least a good time together. It was a disaster! Not even a good promotional gig. The one station had a couple while we had four of us, sharing what was called a cozy cooking station with friends. It was awkward for the two couples, badly planned, highly unprofessional and for sure expensive, if we only take in consideration the quality of the supplies not to mention quantity. It is a poorly design sales gimmick. That is very sad, considering the quality of the store. The chef tried hard to play the part.

My experience with SurLaTable was negative, UNTIL, my call was answered by Alex, Zuriel Alexis Navarro Toledo! Honesty such as Alex is uncommon in our world today. Usually, one is met with evasive answers and rarely with understanding of another's needs. This is NOT the case in with Alex. His ability to listen, empathize and meet the needs of the customer are UNEQUALLED! In short, he should be heralded for who he is and the values he embraces. Thank you, Alex! You will never be forgotten.

This is not for the individual store. but ordering on line. They are the worse company to deal with for a price adjustment. I found out about a reduction in price on the 15th day after i ordered even though they put it on sale 9 days after i bought. They are claiming that their policy is date I notified them not a guarantee of the price for the 14 days after purchase. This is the nonsense they wrote back. Thank you for reaching out to us. This means 15 days had passed between the purchase date and your request. As shown in the screenshot of our policy attached, requests must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date. I ordered a set of plates and they came quickly and they look great, however one of the salad plates and a mug were damaged in shipment. I submitted a ticket and Joe F responded friendly and quickly. I sent him a photo and he ordered replacements immediately. Great customer service!

Sur La Table Cutting Mats, Set of 4 (non slip) - I purchased these whilst on holiday in the Washington DC area. Got home to the UK, put them into the dishwasher and then went to use one of them on a quartz worktop and they are not non slip. Too dangerous to use. Contacted their customer service. All went well to start with. I produced photos of the mats, the wrapping from round the mats and proof of purchase. They the asked for my mobile number and asked for convenient times to phone because of the time difference. Gave them the information and then the next email said 'In order to proceed, the item must be returned to our warehouse. However, we are only able to provide return labels for items located within the United States. We apologize for the inconvenience, but in this case, we will not be able to assist further with the return and refund process.' I have replied to their email letting them know that this totally unsatisfactory as the goods that I have bought do not meet the criteria as given on the label. I have also been on their website and read the dissatisfaction from customers with regards to this product. I've asked for a refund for the cost of the product without necessitating me to raise a formal complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and also your Chief Executive Officer, Jordan Voloshin.
