Customer service excellence
Sur La Table is one of my favorite stores for quality cooking and baking items. I ordered a mixing bowl and it arrived damaged. I called the customer service department and spoke with Ian. Ian was extremely helpful. He told me to send pictures of the damages so he could review. After his review a replacement bowl was shipped and I received it in 3 days. This is one of the reasons why I will be a long time customer. Much appreciated, Thomas Foulkes

FEDEX completely screwed up delivery of…
FEDEX completely screwed up delivery of my $300 Sur La Table order and I was going to have to wait for weeks for FEDEX and Sur La Table to work it out. Then Tge company figured out this mess was completely FEDEX fault and immediately reshipped a new order to me at no charge. What great customer service! And I actually talked and emailed with real human beings to resolve this. Premier company. Will be loyal to them going forward!

Great service from Monica B
I ordered 8 of the Lion's head soup bowls, and one of them arrived chipped. After contacting Sur La Table via email, I received a prompt response that a replacement was on its way. Great customer service, always appreciated and remembered.

DO NOT GIVE WEDDING GIFT CARDS TO SUR…
DO NOT GIVE WEDDING GIFT CARDS TO SUR LA TABLE. I was given a gift card for our wedding 2 years ago. Long story short, we took our time and finally decided to buy a coffee maker. Well, the website would let me fully check out then give me a flashing error after I placed the order. It took 4 tries and then called customer service. She said she placed the order for me. It hasn't arrived so I went to check and they cancelled it. Now I've spent over 3hrs trying to cash in this stupid gift card AND spend 2x that to get this product and they will not honor the gift card. It seems baked into their process to make it so difficult that people give up and throw their money away. Also the moment I entered my email I got about 15 emails a day. The only saving grace was their customer service rep on this last call was very calm, kind, and helpful. At least they hired a real human who had excellent etiquette and a gracious problem solving attitude. I'm still not confident we'll get the coffee machine but at least someone acknowledged it was frustrating and tried to help.
