At approximately 12:30 PM
At approximately 12:30 PM, my daughter and I visited the Supercuts location at 5440 Thornwood Dr B, San Jose, CA 95123. We were checked in by a stylist named Abi. My daughter requested a simple haircut with bangs, and I provided reference photos for the stylist. During the service, the bangs were cut excessively short. Without addressing the error or attempting to correct it, the stylist ended the service and directed us to the register. The result was significantly different from what was requested and is not able to be styled or corrected. I expressed my disappointment with the service. The stylist responded, "okay, don't pay me," and no payment was made. I requested to speak with a supervisor, but one was not available at the time. My daughter was very distressed and in tears following the experience. We attempted to purchase accessories to help style her hair, but it could not be corrected. I returned to the salon at approximately 2:12 PM on the same day to request the stylist's full name and license information in order to file a report. The stylist refused to provide her information and raised her voice at me in front of customers and staff. I began recording the interaction at that point. No other staff members were able to provide her information. This experience has been very upsetting for my daughter, who is now self-conscious about her appearance. This stylist seems to not be happy, she never apologized to my daughter instead she yelled at me as my daughter stood next to me crying and devastated from this woman named Abi who just ruined her hair. I honestly felt afraid from how this woman reacted towards my daughter and I.
