Our Co-founder and Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Tory Waxman started Sundays as a solution to her own everyday problem: She couldn't find a dog food that was as nutritious and fresh as home-cooked meals and as convenient as dry food. And that’s how Sundays, the first fresh, air-dried food of its kind, was born. Our mission is to make it easier to be an awesome dog parent. We take the headache out of fresh food, making a nutritious and affordable solution that does require a fridge or freezer like leading raw and frozen brands. Sundays has the cleanest ingredients around; is 100% human grade; and has a Customer Care Pack who love dogs as much as you do, and are available every day for you and your pup!

I would run not walk away from this company. Tried to readjust our schedule for delivery and its nearly impossible. They basically ignore your e mails and DO NOT answer their phones.
if you cancel service, they say they will, but then ship the product to you anyway.
Will be a battle to get my credit card company to work with me to not pay for this last shipment.

Got Rid of Easy Cancellation, Now Uses AI
Years ago, I would have rated this company 4 stars, only one star missing for price and a bit of reliability issues on sending. The actual product is great - very healthy dog food with the convenience of kibble. But recently they've made it impossible to cancel any subscription plan without going through their AI customer service. As we all know, AI is an unethical thing to be using, at least under current available models. But even that aside, any subscription that does not have an easy-to-access cancel button is not to be trusted. I don't think this company was like this in the past, so this change is disappointing, but until they fix this by providing an easy cancel button and removing AI from being a customer service roadblock, I must warn all I can away from this company.

Great dog food but…
Great dog food, unacceptable customer service
My dog Nala loves Sundays, and I genuinely wanted to continue feeding her their food. Unfortunately, their customer service has made that impossible.
For over a month, I've repeatedly tried to contact the company because Nala has not been receiving enough food. Despite my attempts to resolve the problem, I have received no meaningful response.
This is not a minor inconvenience. When a company sells premium dog food through a delivery service, customers need to be able to rely on getting enough food to feed their animals.
I like the product, but I cannot continue supporting a company that leaves customers without assistance when something goes wrong. I'm now looking for another dog food supplier.

Sundays for Dogs subscriber for 2.5y
I’ve been a Sundays for Dogs customer for about 2.5 years. My dog has done very well on the food itself, which is why I’ve stayed as long as I have. Unfortunately, I’m finally canceling because the experience surrounding the food has become too unreliable and frustrating.
Over the years, I’ve dealt on and off with inconsistent shipping and availability, confusing pricing changes, limited flexibility when I need to adjust the timing or quantity of an order, and difficulty getting meaningful customer support when I actually need help.
That last piece has become especially frustrating as my dog’s nutritional needs have changed. A subscription for a dog’s primary food needs to make it easy to adjust how much she is eating and receive food sooner when necessary. Instead, I’ve found myself trying to navigate those changes largely on my own while struggling to reach someone who can actually help.
My most recent order was ultimately the final straw. Her regular Turkey recipe became unavailable for the expected shipment, so I had to switch to another Turkey formula to get food to her at all. Despite choosing an option that indicated it would arrive in time, we still ended up without her primary food for four days. When the substitute finally arrived, I discovered it was significantly less calorie dense, meaning I have to feed considerably more of it to provide the same daily nutrition, making an already expensive food even more expensive.
To make matters worse…their website lists Turkey Small Bites at 690 kcal per cup. The bag I received states 508 kcal per 100 grams and approximately 108 grams per cup. Those figures calculate to approximately 549 kcal per cup, not 690.
That is a significant discrepancy for customers determining how much to feed their dogs.
Any one of these issues might be understandable occasionally. After 2.5 years, however, they’ve become a pattern I’m no longer willing to manage.
I genuinely wish Sundays had invested as much in the customer experience and reliability of its subscription service as it has in the food. My dog has thrived on the food, and leaving a product that works well for her is not a decision I wanted to make.
But when a company provides your dog’s primary source of nutrition, you need to be able to trust that the food will be available, arrive when expected, be priced predictably, and that someone will be there to help when something goes wrong. After 2.5 years, I simply don’t have that confidence in Sundays anymore.

I wanted to love Sundays for Dogs
I wanted to love Sundays for Dogs, but my experience has been extremely disappointing.
Both of my orders have been late. My first order arrived on September 5 and only contained about a week’s worth of food. My next order was received on September 9, but it did not ship until September 15. It was then supposed to arrive September 20, never showed up, and the delivery date was pushed to September 24.
I have now been without Sundays food for about two weeks.
That is unacceptable for a subscription dog-food company, especially one charging premium prices. Customers should be able to rely on scheduled deliveries and should never be put in a position where they run out of food because orders are not fulfilled on time.
This was particularly stressful because my dog has significant dietary restrictions and cannot eat most common proteins, so I had to scramble to find another food she could safely eat.
Customer service was just as disappointing. I emailed, called, and texted multiple times and received no response for about a week. I also repeatedly asked for clarification on how much food I should actually be feeding because the guidance I received was inconsistent, and I still never received a clear answer.
Meanwhile, I kept receiving automated requests asking me to provide feedback about my experience.
For food this expensive, I expected reliable delivery, accurate feeding guidance, and responsive customer support. Unfortunately, I did not receive any of those consistently.

Part 2: Finally received credit
I wrote a previous review. I have upgraded my review because I finally received credit for their order processing errors; however, the process was still way too time consuming on my part.

I went into this with very high hopes
I went into this with very high hopes. Considering the very high price point, sunday expects you to pay with a subscription service. I have a five month old puppy. Who is very finicky in his eating? I ordered it and they assigned me a person to answer. All of my questions. I asked how much of sunday's food I should be giving for the transition and to ensure my puppy gets all the nutrition that he needs because they state that they will make it specific to your dog. I asked my question over two weeks ago, and I still have not received a response only AI automated responses. And I've also been sent questionnaires to see how the service went but I never have had any service for Sundays so I canceled the subscription and I will not be returning to Sundays because it is impossible to receive any type of information about the product so I can't even rate the product. My dog seems to like it okay, but I only give him it as a topper. Customer service of sundays very poor. They are just another subscription service. Don't believe the hype.

Although the food is great and my dog…
Although the food is great and my dog loves it the customer service is absolutely terrible. My box was shipped a week late and then delivered to wrong address. Ive tried to contact company 5 times now and no one picks up phone or responds to my emails. It really sucks to have such great dog food run by such a terrible customer service department.
