Because we are just the software program your Pro uses to manage their business, we have no authority to go into their account and issue client refunds. For issues between clients and professionals, you'll need to contact the professional directly; Pros are very willing to accommodate unsatisfied clients. In our Terms of Service: "StyleSeat does not have control over the quality, suitability, reliability, timing, durability, legality, failure to provide, or any other aspect whatsoever of any Styling Services provided by Professionals nor of the integrity, responsibility or any of the actions or omissions whatsoever of any Professionals or Clients. StyleSeat makes no representations or warranties whatsoever with respect to Styling Services offered or provided by Professionals or requested by Clients through use of the Services, whether in public, private, or offline interactions." Our New Client Connection Program includes a one-time 30% fee on the first appointment booked with clients we introduce. This fee applies only when a new client is referred through our marketing efforts. If one of your existing clients is mistakenly marked as a new client, please let us know! You can easily request a correction by clicking the link in the appointment details that says “new client from StyleSeat” and selecting “request a correction.” Regarding the processing fees, these are standard across the industry and cover credit card processing costs for client payments. Additionally, StyleSeat charges a $2.35 booking fee to help maintain a seamless booking experience, which is common practice among similar platforms. We see that you’re currently on our Basic Plan. Based on your feedback, you might find our Premium Plan beneficial. It allows you to customize your features, including the option to disable the New Client Connection Program. Plus, you can process regular appointments using any payment method, and payments processed outside of StyleSeat won’t incur our processing fee (though please note that most payment processors have similar fees). If you ever notice one of your clients has been acidentally marked as a new client from StyleSeat, please click the link in the appointment details that says "new client from StyleSeat" and then choose "request a correction". Our Support team is always happy to assist in these situations! Additionally, we see that you are on our Premium Plan. This plan allows you the flexibility to customize your features, so if you ever feel like New Client Connection isn't for you, you can disable it at any time in your account settings. Separate from these basic tools are features such as New Client Connection and Smart Pricing which help grow your client base and increase your revenue. When StyleSeat finds you a new client, there is a 30% fee on the first appointment that client books with you (service cost only). This fee is reinvested into more marketing efforts to continue to bring in new clients to send your way. If we ever accidentally mark one of your clients as a new client from StyleSeat, you can let us know by clicking the link in the appointment details that says "new client from StyleSeat" and then choose "request a correction". Our Support team is always happy to help in these instances. In order to provide a safe and secure platform for both our clients and professionals, StyleSeat charges a booking fee of $2.35 to cover the operational costs of providing a smooth booking experience. The booking fee will power things like customer support, new feature development, and security measures. This is standard practice that other similar platforms use.
