I have my ups and downs with StyleSeat
I have my ups and downs with StyleSeat. In the beginning it was great at helping me get clients then over time i was only getting clients like once a month if that. I also really dislike all the fees. I understand that the site is build for helping gain new clients and its only a one time fee for new clients but that fee can really take a toll on you. Especially when you have bills and other things you need to pay for and hair is your full-time job. It can also make you feel like you’re working for free. I have gain some loyal clients from StyleSeat and i wont take that away from them but the fees overtime be came to much and from getting new clients every week to only once a month if that, also made me start to turn away and look else where.

Thank you for your feedback, and we're glad StyleSeat has helped you build a loyal client base. The New Client Connection fee only applies to new clients StyleSeat brings to you. It's a one-time fee of 30% of their first appointment, capped at $50, and clients you already have or who book through your own link never carry that fee. I don’t get any bookings through the…
I don’t get any bookings through the app, when I do, it’s one booking after three months. That booking just makes money for subscription for the next three months till you get your next booking.

Its a cool app
It's a great app. It's can be a bit pushy when it comes to adding deposits lol I innerstand though! I don't like the options. i have had clients come but not be ready for the service, instead of not wanting my service. Sometime they have to reschedule. Overall it's smooth. 🖖🏽

I’m not impressed at all
I’m not impressed at all . StyleSeat puts people on my schedule without letting me confirm them . I pay for the option to be able to change how the person pays for the service and I can’t change anything. I’m paying for a service that I’m not able to control. HORRIBLE!

Thanks for your feedback. You should be the one deciding who gets added to your schedule, and you can set that up today. Go to Marketing > New Client Connection > Edit NCC Settings and choose "Off – I'll respond myself" to review new client requests before they're booked. You can also switch to Manual Checkout under More > Payments > Checkout. New Client Connection and Smart Pricing bookings are the one exception, since those still need to be checked out through StyleSeat. We'd love to go through your settings with you.
