It’s been 40 years since I last had my hair professionally done, and I must say, the experience with Lamar has been absolutely wonderful! I truly enjoying every moment and couldn’t be more pleased.

Fair professional, real cool dude

I am a licensed professional on StyleSeats platform and I have even been given the status of "VIP" and "Top Pro" for over a year. I process THOUSANDS of dollars of revenue through them but today I have reached my limit. First and foremost the customer service is terrible. I never feel like the person on the other end is doing all that they can do to help me with my problem. The problem is ALWAYS an issue with me recieving my money. Always. One way or another the money that I earn is either reduced (high fees and several fees), held up (processing issues that they shift blame to either stripe or my bank), lost (this is the most recent I have an instant pay out that literally has failed to show up and its been 6 days), given back to the client (no show fees are disputed and the client ALWAYS win, even though they booked my time and failed to attend the appointment), and the list goes on and on. If I am such a valued member why am I not feeling that way. The only thing that top pro gets me is i am usually 1 of the first 10 people that show up BUT if someone is doing a specific search for my services I would be there anyway and I stand out because of my work, reviews that I earned and the way I describe my services. VIP status is a JOKE because all it affords me is the ability to get dragged around in circles over the phone instead of via email.. i really REALLY am done with this platform and I encourage others not to waste time, energy and most importantly your hard earned money with them

As a StyleSeat Pro, I’m disappointed that I have yet to receive a single booking through the platform. It’s frustrating to pay a monthly subscription for a service that hasn’t generated any business for me. While the subscription may not be expensive, it’s still money coming out of my pocket for something that isn’t delivering results. I joined with the expectation of gaining exposure and attracting new clients, but so far, that hasn’t been my experience. I understand that bookings aren’t guaranteed, but I do feel the platform should provide more value to professionals who are paying to use it.

Ashly is a wonderful hair stylist—professional, punctual, friendly, accommodating, talented, and reliable. Her attention to detail and commitment to my satisfaction are outstanding. Highly recommended.
