Booked our flights to New York on Saturday 2/22 to fly out Friday 2/28 but now my husband is sick and specially with the Corona virus we don’t want to take any chance for him to get worse or get any one else sick we called explained our situation for Alaska Airlines they are amazing willing to cancel and waive our $125 cancellation fees but since studentuniverse.com/ was the 3rd party we booked with STUDENT UNIVERSE refuses to refund us and wants us to TRAVEL SICK AND GET OTHER PASSENGERS SICK THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE TRAVELERS HEALTH

called to cancel ticket before 24hours, was not allowed, never use them!

I would give them 0 stars or minus 10 if I could....worst service ever to book a flight. We tried to buy them...the website didn’t let us but they had taken the money....we called.... they money came back, they charged us extra to do it through the phone. We didn’t received our flight tickets after 2 hours and sent us an email requiring more information, to send pic of our credit card covering some digits and also pic of our ID ( totally unnecessary and never happened before when we buy flight tickets) We called again as we still didn’t receive our flight tickets...( we had to flight next day due to an emergency and apply online for a visa) we had to call again and they started to make questions about Why my cc had short period of expiration ( visa reasons) still we didn’t receive the flight tickets. we had to call at least 4 or 5 times until we finally got our tickets, get rude at them etc... such a consuming time and energy experience. Totally unnecessary as just few weeks earlier we had book other flights with other company and not had to go through such a pain. NEVER AGAIN, worst experience booking flights ever

I recently used Studentuniverse to book my flights between China and Australia. Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, many flights were cancelled or rescheduled, including mine. Although it's hard to reach a representative through the helpline (you can imagine how many people's flights had been affected and needed to call them), their reply to my e-mail and wechat messages was quick. I was able to cancel my flights with no fuss. Emails were sent to me whenever a resolution was confirmed and refund was received within few days. I would highly recommend Studentuniverse, not only for their cheap price, but also good service.

Sorry to see all these negative reviews. Student Universe provided me with a cheap flight from Kathmandu to Colombo. It was very easy and reliable process. I needed to change the dates of my flight and I was able to contact a customer care representative easily via telephone. Even though I didn't end up changing the dates (due to the cost of changing tickets) I really appreciated the help I got from them. They were upfront, sincere and easy to use. Will definitely use again.

Today i bought a ticket via studentuniverse. It was around 100 Dollar cheaper than the 2nd cheapest ticket. I have read all negative reviews previously and I was scared to book. But then i contacted their customer support via the chat and they could help me so fast with my questions I had. Such support (Chat) I have never seen on any other travel agency website.

Same experience as a lot of other people. After booking they sent an email asking for photos of my card and ID. I did not send them and they cancelled the booking. Tried with another card, same thing happened. I opened a case with my bank and I got a refund, but it is significantly less than the original amount I paid.

Got the quote on studentuniverse.com.au for my flights. I had only option to sign in to get the tickets. I did and then just got the message I am not eligible for those flights booking. No other option. The service in my opinion is total bogus just to get your details when you sign in. I just got spammed by the site right away when I registered. AVOID.
