I ordered a piece that was "guaranteed…
I ordered a piece that was "guaranteed " by Father's Day. The only reason I paid $300 for this gift. Father's Day was yesterday and my piece still hasn't even been shipped. Poor customer service.

Tried the rest, now I use the best
These guys are amazing. Tried other vendors to make a complex logo from steel, and the results were not good. Story In Steel was fast, and priced very competitively. Their support team was really smart and helpful. Will be using these guys for all my high resolution metal art projects. Thanks team!!!

I never received my package
I never received my package. I placed the order in late April and have sent several emails to the support team. I spent over $300 and I can't get anyone to acknowledge my issue with not receiving my order. I was so excited to see t item I bought. It was a gift for a friend of mine for her 50th birthday. I'm extremely disappointed in this company. I really wanted to believe this was a great product by a newer small company. Customer service and quality products go hand in hand. Do not order from this company. It's a waste of time and money and you'll only be disappointed.

We’re sorry this situation was not resolved to your satisfaction. Both custom pieces were produced and shipped, and the courier marked both packages as delivered. You later informed us that only one had been received, so our team responded and began working with the courier to verify what happened. Our policy is to recreate an order at no additional cost when a package is confirmed lost. However, a chargeback was filed while the investigation was underway, which moved the matter into the payment provider’s dispute process and prevented us from completing our standard replacement procedure. Outstanding customer service
The framed metal portraits are excellent. But - I want to speak to customer service. It is excellent. They are very helpful pre- and post-purchase. They went out of their way to help me get it right.

Worst communication ever
You pay first then you get the worst communication ever for customer service. Dont waste your money

Save your money - not as promised
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Story in Steel. After multiple rounds of correspondence, I carefully reviewed and approved a final proof that did not include their company logo. However, the product I received arrived with their logo added, which was not part of the approved design. In addition to the incorrect proof execution, the overall product quality was far below expectations. The craftsmanship and finish did not reflect the level of quality represented during the ordering process. I reached out several times to customer service to address both the unauthorized logo addition and the quality concerns. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response, nor was I offered a refund or replacement. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend ordering from this company. I would strongly encourage others to proceed with caution and ensure all details are clearly documented before purchasing.

We sincerely apologize. The final product should have matched the proof you approved, and adding a logo that was not shown in that proof was unacceptable. Excellent product
While I opted not to pay for expedited service, the product showed up within the 15 day time frame. Both the approval picture they sent, and the actual delivered product turned out amazing. I will be looking for products from them.
