Great staff and awesome storage facility 😁 I do have one suggestion.... is there anyway to make code box more accessible from your vehicle?? You either have to open your door to reach it or drive up on curb !! I have used several storage facilities and this is only one that is difficult to reach ? I have witnessed several cars coming/going out of this one having to open their doors in order to punch in their code 😒Maybe extend it further out or raised up and away from curb ?? Not sure what can be done, but this problem needs fixed !! Thanx, Darlene

Josh - the owner or manager of StorPlace - was wonderful when I called him to reserve the unit. He was fantastic to work with. However, when I arrived on May 30th to fill out the paperwork and get my keys, the man on duty around 5pm on 5/30 was a nightmare. I was sitting out front waiting on my moving truck to arrive behind me any minute - the move took longer than anticipated and they were running behind. Josh had mentioned to me that I could access my storage unit until 9pm so I thought we still had plenty of time to get everything in before closing. I was out front on a call with my Dad discussing the health of my stepmother while waiting on the moving truck. The man working inside saw me outside waiting and on my phone. At 5:30 exactly he exited and locked the door. I jumped out of my car and told him that I was waiting on my moving truck to move my stuff in and thought I had until 9pm. He said that he saw me on the phone and that he closes at 5:30 so he would not allow me to get my keys until they reopened in the morning. I told him that I was not aware that 5:30 was closing time, that I thought it was 9pm, and could he please just let me sign any papers to get the keys. The movers were working hourly and could not possibly bring all of my stuff back the next morning. He repeatedly said no despite my pleading and begging him to be reasonable. This begging and pleading with him went on from 5:30 - 5:33pm. It would have taken less time for him to simply let me in to sign the paperwork. I told him it was an honest mistake - that I genuinely thought the office closed at 9pm - and he told me that he didn't care and that he had sat there and watched me on the phone for 10 minutes knowing that I needed to get my keys and paperwork. I kept asking him to please call Josh and finally he did after about 3 minutes went by of this unpleasant back and forth. After he called someone - maybe Josh - he eventually let me sign the papers and gave me my keys, but the whole experience seemed unnecessarily stressful and that he was more interested in teaching me a lesson than simply being rational and understanding of an honest mistake.

Nice, clean place. Staff worked with us to meet our needs. Staff friendly. Feels safe.
