Continuously moving back the expected date of completion with no actual reason.

Frustrating candidate experience Customer services kept hanging up on me. Emails for additional information were vague and unhelpful. The online experience is broken, preventing candidates from completing the flow. Spent hours trying to resolve issues. Total joke!

-Had to restart screening process entirely for having to change the name of one previous employer due to a simple mix-up. -I was asked several times to provide a W-2 for a job, despite having already sent it to them with no confirmation of receipt of this email. -I have called or been called by their customer service line at least 5 times in the last three days. Every time I call their customer service department, I wait to talk to a service rep who then refers me to another department for my employer's account, where I must restate identifying information associated with my screening process. I am extremely frustrated with this process. I have had experiences where companies either verify directly or their vendors use a single point of contact. This has been unnecessarily convoluted and confusing and in my opinion reflects poorly on employers who use this service.

I have been waiting 5 weeks for my check to come back, keep asking for a bank statement that isn't online, needs to be a printed out document which has been provided several times and they keep saying not accepted, just get an email every 5 days saying not accepted. Is anyone actually doing any work in that office seems to be full of absolute jokers.

I have read the reviews and thank God I did not go further. I got a job offer from an investment bank which will remain nameless. However the incompetence between the bank and Sterling is something to behold. You actually would not think they communicate with eachother. Sterling barraged me with emails before I even received the damn contract. The form itself is a joke. Mid-way through it I gave up. I got a smart-a***d answer from somebody in India like "if you don't like it, go somewhere else". That is exactly what I did and am don't have to deal with the stress and constant annoying emails of Sterling
