Horrible service they reported false information to my report & wont correct it it’s still pending investigation for me to get a job offer and I’ve never got to any trouble before..rediculous playing with peoples lives

Took out car insurance to start at a later date paid deposit. The next day called me saying it had gone up by 250 pounds. I told them I wish to cancel they said ok and my deposit I wanted back which they said ok that’s fine. I’m still waiting 2 weeks later.I would anyone to steer well clear of this company.

The person I spoke to was helpful and gave me good advice. However, I feel the background check process is long and I have not been updated throughout.

Sterling's colleagues have been very friendly and efficient in answering my questions over phone, and the Emails have also been very clear and structured. Overall, the process so far is straight-forward and very professional.

Nice great staff

Very poor communication. I worked one job for 5 years and they asked for a w2 or proof of me working there so I sent them the first w2 I found from one of those years. They then told me it was weird that I sent one in the middle of those years I worked there instead of my first one I ever got when they never asked for a specific one. They told me it was confusing that I sent a random one which is what they asked for! They then emailed me all day saying they couldn’t get in touch with my high school to verify I graduated. I talked to my High school myself the next day and they verified they had sent it the day before which was the day sterling emailed me all day saying they didn’t have it when they clearly did. I’ve never written a bad review in my entire 27 years on this earth but I feel like this company was either intentionally harassing me and dragging out the process or they were just incompetent. Either way terrible experience and they need to do better.
