Sent my information in and two days later was sent an email saying they need more information, the information they were asking for was stuff I had told them on my form but I sent the info anyway then I was met by another email the next day asking for different details, why not ask for this in the email sent already?I keep receiving emails from them asking for information I have told fhem 15 TIMES.

I have done my background check with sterling for ubereat uk , I have fill the form upload all documents they have asked for , after 2 or 3 days I received an email saying you need to send us your id No worries I send it , and when it’s all done , I received the report saying we couldn’t check your ID so my Uber account is not working for 2 weeks now I can’t work I have bills to pay kids to feed and when I contact the customer service of sterling they don’t even speak English properly and they are not helpful at all , I been calling them every 2 days as they said you have to wait 48hours to get response but every times a new person and of course they don’t know what’s the issue , all this is just to verify the id I did send already (incompetent sterling team) this is the result when you make your office in a foreign country that they don’t care about anyone rather than keep it in the uk and have a great customer service

A totally inept and incompetent organisation. Seriously useless at everything. They get paid big money to be useless.

Terrible experience for candidates. I filled in the whole form but one compulsory field (bevause nowadays HR teams don't have phone numbers...) and they erased all my data by resending the link. The site also has a poor customer experience, with compulsory fields not matching the requirements, the site logs you out too quickly without saving data, the address search is poor. It’s already a lot of work to gather the data, without having to enter those multiple times because the site logs you out and some requirements make no sense. The customer support is also very slow to respond. I've been using multiple background checks in the past, this is by far the worst.

The whole process has been chaotic with really poor communication. I get daily emails asking me to upload my address when I have already correctly completed that section three times. They tell you to ‘pick a move in date’ if they’ve asked for a 5 year residence history and you’ve actually lived somewhere for 6 years. Their system can’t cope with correct details. The photo/taking process is very difficult. They ask you to hold up your photo ID but then the next day send you an email saying ‘don’t take photos of photos’ I would definitely not recommend this company

A future employer hired these people to do a background check on me. And they cant prove ive worked anywhere for the last 10 years. A background company that doesnt know how to do a check. What are they getting paid for if i have to supply all the paper work.

It is discusting app running very slow and lost my filling of form to many times after I finish they saud they are unable to send my data due to the technical problem I lost 3 hours of my time
