Deplorable company. Their background check has taken over 2 months as of today and the expected date of completion keeps extending further and further, with no explanation. Customer service is atrocious (they hang up on me mid-call 50% of the time after having been put on hold) and their representatives are clueless. By far the worst background check platform I have had the displeasure of using. Edit: the background check finally cleared the other day, 3 months minus 2 days from when I initially requested it. Great work guys!!

They ran my background check and pulled someone else's data. They fired me without the opportunity to follow up and assumed no accountability for their error.

A wasted hour and a half trying to get a horribly glitchy UI to accept data and correct errors while randomly being logged out and having to start again at random Do not attempt to complete until you are ready with every detail and ignore the automation for the address lookup. An absolutely terrible UI

I got a job offer from a UK company, for which a criminal record was asked from Belgium where I had lived and worked before. They waited for the criminal record to arrive more than three months. I called them sevaral times to hear "you need to be patient, we have a process to follow". After three months I decided to get the criminal record by myself. The process was fully online and it literally took less than 24 hours for the Belgian authorities to return my criminal record. I presented my criminal record with a verification code on it to my new employer. I got "all clear" the day after from my new employer. As a result of this unnecessary delay, I missed months of much better pay plus the window to be eligible for compensation pay in my new company - let alone the long stressful onboarding experience because of the incompetence of sterling.

Absolutely horrible, outdated manual entry system with a glitchy attempt at automation. Doesn't pick up a single company or address name correctly unless you worked in a major global employer like Microsoft or General Electric and in addresses like 10, Main Street. Even while I am actively typing and entering data, this system logs me out after a certain number of minutes. What sort of pathetic software is this? I am sitting securely inside my house so any false claims of "security" is not something I buy with these timesucking excuses of software.

Their service targets and discriminates against minorities who have challenges already finding work.

So Poor, When getting the forms filled out for my ID verification the form that was being filled out stated that it could be sent via post which was the option i opted for as I couldn't upload my ID on the site as the files were too large (I'm not a tech genius) This means Copies of my ID were sent next day delivery signed for by 1pm (£8.00) to Sterling along with stamped verification and signatures from the correct individual needed in this case a post office official (£13.00) There was no acknowledgement of receipt of the documents sent and they now insist they the documents must be sent by email and I was asked if the documents can be sent via email. Now there was no mention of documents needing to be sent via email hence the option to post. i have explained numerous times that i have sent them by post so how can i email them across. They are asking for a tracking number 2 weeks after i sent them next day delivery signed for. which means a) they have lost my documents with a lot of sensitive information on or b) Are trying to make this as difficult as possible and not just matching up the documents sent to my online screening.They are now expecting me to spend £13.00 again and go to a post office to get the same official to sign it again because of there own incompetence. Up till now it has been 2 weeks with me being now closer to completion then the day i made a username and password

Slow and ask for the same information multiple times. Awful candidate experience. I can’t believe there isn’t a more automated solution to check references.
