It's wonderful to not have to climb stairs. The stairlift does everything Stannah said it would.

My Stannah Stairlift is dependeble and the company is a pleasure to deal with.

When We realized we needed a stair climber for my folks we did a little research. We found the long standing family business of Stannah. We called them told them what we needed they came to my parents house....There was no pressure. They were gracious to my folks and within a week we were all set...We've had the product almost 1 year without any problems at all...I recommend them all the time

Right from first contact very professional employees. Installation was on time, quick and mess free! More than 1 year plus later no problems and solved our problem.

My parents first used Stannah's services about 15 years ago. They purchased their unit outright and had been very pleased since day one. After a family member passed away and we had to sell my parent's home, we had no use for the stairlift, so we had Stannah come and remove it from the premises. Three years later, we needed one back in a different location than the original one. Had we know this, of course, we would have found a location to store the unit for later use. At any rate, we had their sales rep come out to our new location, same person, wonderful personality, explained everything down to the last detail. We opted to rent the unit this time, along with half down, required. The installation person is awesome and really know what they are doing. It takes about 3-4 hours, but I knew what I was in for. Still working fine to this day. Very pleased.

The lift has been in for a year know and is running fine. I am a little surprised the only time I herd from Stananah Stairlifts is when the maintenance contract was up for renewal. I was under the impression a tech would be out in the first 6 months to go over the lift and check it early failures, that never happened. I did not renew the maintenance contract because the lift comes with a ten year warranty on the motor, lift and rails. Other than the lack of contact during the first year of use the lift is great. It makes my mother, 92 years old, much more independent.

This stairlift was purchased for my husband, unfortunately, he went into a nursing home 3 months ago. I am in good health and am living in a split level home and find I utilize this chair almost on a daily basis. I put my groceries on the chair and send them up to the main floor. I have a small dog with knee problems that I have to carry up and down I now put him on the chair and he rides up and down saving me from a possible fall on the stairs. I love this chair.
