Sprouts Farmers MarketReviews of sprouts.com

Sprouts offers organic products in plastic - an oxymoron. I realize some products are difficult to package otherwise, but most products could be packaged in biodegradable packaging. Also, why have plastic bags at check out?? Customers of ALDI find a way to shop without the store providing bags! I shopped at Sprouts last week. Won’t be going back.

The bulk area is great; the meat department has a few great guys who are helpful. The produce department for a farmers' market type of store is awful. Products are very average and the customer service from the department is horrible. On a few occasions I've asked if they had any items in the back as the stands were empty, usually they say no! Today the guy was down and outright nasty, so I walked out with a cart full of items. Last time I wrote a review the store manager contacted me to apologize, guess nothing has changed. With Whole Foods, Trader Joes and The Fresh Market within a mile of this Oakland Park store, I along with many others will not be returning.

I'd like to share my opinion with these fraudsters but i'll leave them to do their business. Please stop spraying chemicals on your produce.

When you go to the meat department, no bell or anything to get the butcher to see you. Have to get someone else from next department to let them know you are there. The butchers are good once you get their attention. Same where you buy sliced hem, etc. Have to go between counter to let them know you are there. Every week this happens.

When I am shopping in the stores, they are just fine. I love the convenience of delivery, but I have items substitued that were not satisfactory. Some items must be very near expiration as they spoil very quickly. The folks that deliver them are swell, which leaves me wondering if Sprouts directs them to substitute the items that they do, and quides them to items that are close to expiring. The date below is an approximate date as my comments were my overall experience and was covering 3 orders.

Sprouts Organic Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce: Has 20% more sugar than Kroger's comparable product.

Tulsa, OK store. I somewhat enjoyed patronizing this store when it first arrived years ago. As with everything, pricing has become ridiculous, recently removed private label organic cereals (which were higher priced as well), if not careful, many private label items are sold with less than a month left on the expiry date, charging for plastic bags, and overly-chatty cashiers during busy times. Anytime I’m in that store (for a specific, hard-to-find item), I feel myself quietly irritated at their halting, chatty checkout clerks while standing motionless waiting for their random conversations with customers to close. (Also notice this at Target) I understand how friendliness and connecting with customers is an essential part of customer service during checkout, but holding up the line to discuss random topics with talkative customers is frustrating to others who want to finish their transactions and leave!

The app is extremely difficult to use. There is no search bar. It is extremely time consuming to scroll through sub categories. If anyone sees this and knows how to search for groceries let me know!
