I'm a retired senior citizen and live in a fixed income. I researched different pet insurance companies and Spot was the one I chose. I could pick my deductible, my Co pay, my limit. I have a 5 month miniature Schnauzer and wanted some type of coverage. I made a claim for a vaccine, they approved it that same day and the money showed up in my bank account on 2 days. I did most of this over the phone as I'm not computer savvy. Thank you Spot!!

My dog, Lucas, had Spot Pet Insurance from about 8 years old to when he passed away at 11 years old. He needed a lot of medical treatment at the end and SPOT came through with the full payment the policy offered to me. No issues with the claim and they did what was right. Lucas had a 90% reimbursement, $1k deductible, Unlimited Limit, Accident & Illness plan and I was very happy with the process. My other dog Leia also has a Spot policy and I wouldn't use anyone else. Thanks!!

New to Spot and my very 1st claim already had some hiccups. I wasn't refunded money that should have been under my plan. Had to file additional claims. The representative I spoke with kept talking over me and made me feel like an inconvenience. Not a great start.

I don't like the fact that I had to pay $78 out of pocket for a vet visit and only getting refunded for $50.

Wish there was a way to speak to a representative. Maybe even at first sign up because someone like me this is all new to me. Also the claims process has been super delayed. My first claim I sent in is still being reviewed and it’s been 4 weeks but I submitted an emergency visit invoice with my pup and the turn around was a couple days. So I’m unsure what the difference was . I’m still very new with this insurance company but they haven’t made me run away yet :)
