I just received an email today on 01-06-2022 from Spoton about a $25 Charge that will be debited from my business account. I called spoton to adress my concern with a representative. The Rep told me that it is a "Software Platform Fee" and that it will be debited on the next business day. I got very angry and told the Rep that am I already paying for "one platform fee" every month. Turns out, I was being billed for 2 separate fees in the amount of $25 every month the entire time I have been with Spoton. The Rep at this point didn't know what to say so he hung up on my face. SOPF - SPOTON SOFTWARE $25.42 SPOTON SOFTWARE/PLATFORM $25.00 More importantly, I am reaching my deadline on 01-13-2023 as a merchant with Spoton. I have given them a 30 day notice in advance that I am leaving them. In return, the lady in their Fraud prevention sent a letter stating that if I do not remove a photo that contains a small portion of our CBD and Kratom products, she will place my deposits in a reserve account to make up for loss and damages Spoton is entitled to. Spoton, You made your money by putting me on a flat rate model and all those extra fees you have thrown in there. You do not have sufficient technology to keep businesses up and running. You have been dishonest and not very Transparent. I do not recommend you or your services to anyone. I have had it with you, your technology, and your dishonesty. Finally, your inability to retrieve fraudulent chargebacks for your Merchant. Not anymore!

By far the absolute worst. I would rate it negative stars. If anyone runs a successful buisness with employees you know that they make mess ups and sometimes you need to adjust a payment or a quick fix. Spot on makes you call them and you lose minimum 20 minutes per mess up trying to fix the issue that 99.9% of other pos systems allow you to fix instantly. They want you to login with the account holders let 4 of social and birthday and buisness number and birthday and the person who sold you the equipment. NO LIE all that just to Get them to help you. They never take responsibility for their mistakes. Please people do not get this system. **** THE RESPONSE says a lot of solutions are available through the back end. Please hear me out people with restaurants that get busy. THIS IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! They do not offer solutions that have been available since the early 2000’s. They always blame things on glitches although they sale you things to prevent these glitches. I don’t know how anyone gave them more than 2 stars. Will review on TikTok to show problems.

Never meet any deadlines or dates for install. Glad it’s no contract. Prob will sign with aloha , yes a lease but better then what I’ve experienced

I signed up with them. They debited my account for the card machine. The guy that signed me up never would answer his phone again and now they refuse to give my money back. Never had a single transaction through them. They are a terrible company and thieves

I gave the company rep a copy of my previous card provider's statement. He claimed he could save me $2500.00 per year. In the first full month it cost me $500.00 more than what my previous provider would have charged for the same dollar value in transactions. When I call the SPOTON rep he said, "Oh, they messed something up in corporate. I'll get you a refund." I waited to hear from him for about two weeks than went back to my previous provider. When I went to close my Spoton account they charged me $470.00 for the card machine because I canceled under a year. Heck, I couldn't afford the extra $500.00 per month in fees anyway.

We have been losing money,no help and left with no anwsers for the past months. They lied about the price, taking extra money and most importantly their equipment is not working! Do not buy their services. We will be leaving their services form our restaurants and tell our towns around us too.

Just a mess! Avoid this company!

I'll never refer your company!!! When I was sitting with an other representative, sudenly he said the price for the device and I told him: No, that is not the price! Then he said: Jonathan? And Jonathan aswer was: "Is because you are going to pay the rest of the cost in a monthly payments of $ 200.00!"
