I spent 5 minutes ordering something to find it was not available yet it's still listed as available. I was offered a $5 certification VALID FPR 2 HOURS for my trouble.. This is not the first time this has happened. I received a coupon for my birthday as a member and found a coupon for a gun site couldn't be used on guns, ammo, sites, etc aka anything gun related.. To say they're legit is using the lowest definition

Bought ammo in July 2020, my expected ship date is July 2022. I understand that there’s an ammo shortage but 2 years is insane. They are back ordering my order because they almost doubled the price of my purchase and I’m locked into the original price. Don’t waste your time with this company.

I also ordered ammo in July of 2020. Received notice again today that expected delivery is July 2022. Paid for membership for free shipping and will never order from them again. Cannot even get the 1st order.

I ordered my first product from them despite the reviews and couldn't be happier. I ordered an SB stock that showed in stock. It was shipped immediately and was delivered as promised. Their web site is very clear about membership and where to cancel if you don't want it. Must just be ammo that is causing the negative reviews.

These guys will say they have something in stock and that you get free shipping with the order if you join. After joining they postponed my ammo order that was suppossed to be in stock for over a year and a half. Wasted the membership fee...

It has been over a year since I've ordered ammunition from this company, and over the months I've gotten perhaps 5 e-mails delaying the order for vague reasons. The ammo was never delivered and I have moved since the order. Inquiry into the nature behind the delays gave some information, but I had to pry quite hard and leave a BBB review to get the attention of someone who knew more than the people who responded to my e-mails (weeks after the initial inquiry, mind you).

So I ordered Ammo, and after 5 months I got no updates and it never came. And almost a year later I get a bill on my CC for 49 dollars for a Sportsman guide renewal - WHAT!!! these guys are scammers and need to be shut down. Do not shop with them and avoid them.

Lately shipping issues with them. They doubled the shipping almost overnight and make you pay 19.99 for the slow boat option of Fed Ex which also has gotten worse. Bottom line is I can get any item they offer for the same price or less and now without a doubt now get free shipping or lower shipping charges without having to pay a membership fee to get normal shipping charges. That is what it is all about.. Join our club or pay double charges for shipping. Very dumb move. They must think the customers are dumb too and like throwing their money away. If they are out to make irate customers they are off to a good start. Even Cabelas offers free shipping after 50 dollars with no membership required. I can get ammo cheaper at Brownells or Aim surplus with better shipping and cheaper...I can go on with better choices..Goodbye Sportsmans Guide
