I bought my lovely TX5 boots from Gibbs in Brecon, UK in October 2021. After approximately 30 miles of walking over non-challenging terrain and in good weather, the rand started to come away where the toes bend. I returned my boots to Gibbs in person (from Cornwall), where I left them and a basic repair was carried out before my boots were posted back to me. Sadly, after the first hike, again, over non-challenging terrain and in good weather, the rand has started to separate from the suede in the same places. As my boots are less than a year old, ie under warranty, I attempted to contact La Sportiva directly, completing their online form with a picture of the receipt attached. The form could not be sent due to 'unknown error'. Other than this problem described above, the boots fit perfectly, which is hard to achieve in walking boots I find, and traction on rocks is the best I have experienced. So, to have this issue is extremely disappointing for me. I have owned these boots for less than one year and have had very little wear from them. I am concerned that if the rand continues to come away from the suede, they will not be fit for purpose much longer. I would like to think this issue is a manufacturing fault and it is not a problem I will experience with other La Sportiva boots. I would happily try out another pair if La Sportiva can convince me that this is the case.

Dreadful customer service. Service manager spoke over me throughout the call and was difficult and belligerent. I was looking for a new trail running shoe company and La Sportiva is not the company.

I purchased two pairs of La Sportiva climbing shoes so far and I couldn't be more satisfied. My first pair were La Sportiva Solution and they fit my foot exceptionally well, the rubber compound was on the softer side so they did ware out faster but they still lasted for more than two years of regular climbing on rocks and in the gym, and the softer rubber made them perfect on volumes, for smearing, toe hooking as well as heel hooking. The other pair are La Sportiva Testarossa and they are definitely not as good as the Solution, especially in the gym, they are made from the harder compound which is better for a really small foothold but not good on volumes. But they are made anyway for outdoor climbing where they are awesome.

Ho acquistato un paio di Bushido II da qualche mese e dopo un utilizzo non frequente per trail running mostrano una usura accentuata della tomaia esterna che tende a rompersi e bucarsi in più punti. Anche le linguette sul lato interno si sono consumate e rotte mostrando l'imbottitura interna che tende quindi a rompersi a sua volta. Qualità complessivamente scadente per un brand che si propone ad alto livello. Grande delusione. Tengo a precisare che sono un utilizzatore di prodotti La Sportiva da molti anni e le mie esperienze precedenti sono state sempre molto soddisfacenti.

cliente sportiva da anni, ma acquistato sempre in negozi fisici, decido di acquistare per la prima volta sul sito mi servivano delle scarpe AKASHA per mia moglie con il numero 43 1/2 visto che le sue oramai erano consumate, premetto che dobbiamo partire in montagna il 1 luglio. Il 20 di giugno acquisto un paio di scarpe cliccando sul numero 43 1/2, scelgo il colore, pago e attendo l'arrivo che avviene il giorno 22 giugno, bene anzi..direi malissimo, mi arriva un numero 40 1/2..faccio immediatamente la pratica di reso invio il giorno successivo tramite corriere a mie spese le scarpe all'azienda con la richiesta di sostituzione. Il pacco arriva il magazzino il 24 giugno e dal giorno successivo inizio a scrivere che le scarpe i servono urgentemente perchè come ho scritto di sopra, il 1 luglio partiamo per la montagna...siamo al 29 di giugno mi arriva una email che il numero 43 1/2 non è disponibile di nessun colore..ma come se era disponibile...insomma mi rimborsano la somma detratta delle spese di spedizione...pertanto oltre al fatto di non avere le scarpe ci ho rimesso circa 20 euro tra spese di spedizione loro e mie...comportamento censurabile...mai più!!

Acquistati pantaloni da trekking invernali neri da uomo a Ziano in Agosto 2021. Dopo pochissimo hanno cominciato a fare i pallini dopo sei mesi immettibili completamente pieni di pallini bianchi ruvidi.Da buttare.

Bought a pair of Skwamas 2 years ago. Leaving in Netherlands with no access to open air routes I have only used them ~50 times in total and for indoor climbing, due to corona. When not in use they were kept in the original box with the silica beads. Nevertheless, the sole around the main body of shoe started de-touching and the synthetic leather started decompossing (hairy texture) . I love how they fit on my foot and the grip but they are too expensive to be considered single/few-time use shoes ! !
