The delivery arrived way too late, and not when promised! The "comfort" soup caused more stress to the recipient due to expected arrival, and no other food prep arrangements due to expecting the delivery. Also, way too expensive! Will not ever order it again.

The soup was ok. Earlier in summer it was great but this time was just ok. And the two types of cookies (chocolate chip and double chocolate chip) were really bad. They didn’t hold together and tasted bad, like baking soda and no butter. I think the recipes changed. Do not recommend.

Our friend sending us the package was such a lovely thought. The soup; however, is tasteless. What could have been a tasty broth with great vegetables was thickened with a potato starch that made us gag. The pre-packaged soups at Costco are way better. The cookies also had no flavor and were grainy, and, the rolls were stale. We were so disappointed.

Was sent a lovely, thoughtful selection of soup, rolls, cookies, plus a couple of add-on items that were sweet and charming. Then I made the mistake of digging around to find out how much the sender had paid. WHAT?!?! The rolls and cookies were big hits. The soup - Garden Vegetable and Wild Rice Chicken - were a joke. Had to add egg noodles to both to satisfy two people. We laughed amongst ourselves upon locating a whopping 5 grains of wild rice in the latter and had to doctor the broth in the former. It's a fabulous concept and I KNOW how much was paid because I came here looking to buy for a friend. But sorry - my homemade is legions better and at least these two soups are absolutely no better than the Panera varities you can find at the grocery store. Overall, swing and a miss for me.

The packaging was great and was exciting to open. The food, not so good. Except for the cookies. They were very good. The rolls were hard as a rock. Heating them, or using extra butter, did not help. I have only used one of the soup. The other is still frozen. It was just so-so. The noodles were gummy. Most of the chicken was pulverized and almost felt gritty. The carrot slices were the best part, but I only got 4 of them. The broth was good. A friend sent this to me after a hospitalization and I much appreciate the kindness and do not want her to know it was very disappointing. I ended up throwing the rolls and the rest of the soup away. I still have one soup in the freezer and I will try to find someone to give that to. All in all, my friend did something very nice for me and I do appreciate that, but I won't be giving a gift of these to anyone.

The idea is unique and I think it would if the product were somehow better The cost, however, is exorbitant for mediocre food My recipient appreciated the food but explained it was just so so and that’s not what I had for Order from a local restaurant and have a delivered it would probably be much much better and more expensive
