I've used A Spoonful of Comfort for years. This past order just wasn't the same experience as it has been previously. I had trouble getting hold of someone in Customer Service to submit my tax exempt forms (I called 3x and my email was written down wrong 3 different times), the recipient has an allergy to dairy and upon further investigation, I couldn't find one allergen friendly food item on your menu (so I sent a box full of non-food items called "A Spoonful of Comfort", kind of embarrassing), until I received this email requesting feedback, I wasn't even aware that the box was delivered successfully, I was waiting on tracking and/or a delivery notice. I'm not sure I'll use your products again.

I am actially pissed at TP brcause they won't verify review without reference number. I DON'T HAVE A REFERENCE NUMBER. TP either publish or don't. At this point I don't care. Update: I have used SFOC since the last review for a family member who had just delivered. I was, as she was, quite impressed with their efficiency and quality. However, I stand by there exorbitant cost mainly due to their packaging. Their quanity is also poor even when doing a double order. Old review: Ordered a time sensitive package for a friend. Sat on a UPS truck x 3 days after scheduled delivery due date due to an error in shipping from company. By the time received the soups were warm. The cost is for their fancy packaging not the for the products themselves. Pepperidge Farm cookies are so much better. Their soups are so so. I found the company to be inefficient.

Most importantly, the food quality is excellent. Unfortunately, the packaging is incredibly wasteful and ultimately expensive for the consumer. Every item in our box, from soup to rolls to cookies to mini pies was needlessly packaged in their own heavy duty cardboard boxes within cardboard boxes, resulting in a large pile of waste to be recycled…over 28 pounds total with food items weighing no more than 5 pounds. Worse, the company promotes this excess packaging as some type of attractive bonus. Lose the excess waste and let your products stand on their own high quality.
