Spirit HalloweenReviews of spirithalloween.com

- Inaccurate sizing - garbage quality products, you may as well go dumpster diving or get something off of Wish - Can't return most items even though their website, in store posters and receipts say otherwise. The staff are very unhelpful with this. - again, like I said, the quality is awful even for a cheap one time use.

Went to the Maplewood MN location I was the only one at location other than the employees Left my card on the counter went out to my car realized I didn't have my card Went back into location asked if they had my card was told no Checked my account my card was charged 45.00 within minutes They charged it to there PayPal account Had to stop my card due a fraud case Went back to location for a refund on stuff I bought was told no I demanded my money Called corporate to make a complaint Mgr and associate need to be fired for theft They are thiefs

I worked at hear and all I can say is find a different job. They don't care about employees. Treat you like a slave and don't pay you on time ( my expereancd) DM will give you the run around when you address issues. Co workers were nice but Sperit is trying to hard to be something it's not. ( a big box store) and that it is seasonal not permit.

Just ordered and was supposed to get free shipping but not only did the charge me shipping on each item a total of $25 they also double the price of the items after the transaction was completed and straight up jacked the money off my credit card.I will let MasterCard handle these crooks.

Waiting 2 weeks for shipping info on my order. 5 emails later I am told it will another 3 weeks. They said my item was a 'pre-sale' which was not true and not explained in the item description

I paid $45 for 2 day shipping, item did not arrive on time.

Ordered items for Halloween because they were not found in any of the stores in my location. I paid extra money to have it shipped to me before Halloween, around 20$ for shipping. Package arrived before Halloween, but my items were broken, couldn’t take them to the store to exchange because they didn’t have the items in store, so I tried to email guest services, no replies. Terrible customer service. At least refund my shipping to me since you couldn’t deliver a package correctly.

I ordered back on August 25th a “Jumping Spider” from Spirit Halloween- or so I thought. After like a month of the spider not arriving I decided to contact them on September 29 via email because my package hadn’t even been shipped. They replied with “ We have reached out to our warehouse for reshipment of item #...... and hope to have that information to you within 24-48 business hours. If you don’t hear anything by that time frame, please reach back out to us.” On October 15th I asked for a refund since the spider would come in time for Halloween because I live in Puerto Rico. They said they would do so because the spider was out of stock... which obviously the whole situation could have been fixed if they told me that from the start- but they didn’t. And they “issued” a refund to my bank account on October 18 saying on that same email that it would take 7-10 business days. But oddly enough I received another automated email saying this “refund” would only take 3-5 business days. Still I waited the 10 days+. On Halloween I contacted them because obviously I hadn’t received the money. And after having to give them all my information again- a screenshot of my bank account- and talking to like 6 different people (because every email I had someone different; they all have basically told me this... “We do apologize for the delay in your refund and have contacted the finance department for a update on your refund status, it does take 24 to 48 business hours to get a response from finance. We will contact you once we have received the update.” But the thing is they don’t contact you back! They just don’t- it’s been months now and they don’t even have the decency to acknowledge their mistakes. On November 3rd they said... Thank you for reaching out to Spirit Halloween I see refund was processed on 10/28 it could take up to 14 business days to reflect on your account Sorry for any inconvenience. It’s November 17 now. The last interaction was on November 13/ talking to them and they again saying- they would contact the finance department and get back to me... This is obviously a scam- but I will give them an extra week to give me back my refund because I know Covid has really screwed everything up (but still this is unacceptable). If they don’t I will be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission. Update: they just reported my review because it’s “violating Trustpilot guidelines”. I don’t see where I am violating it because I am not insulting the company anywhere and they are the ones in the wrong. But I am not afraid to take legal action if needed. Update December 9: They said they helped me resolve the issue... they only sent $19 of the refund. I am still “waiting” for my second refund. So they haven’t resolved anything and I had to contact them through the phone to get “assistance”.
