genuinely the worst thing i have ever experienced. to whoever invented this ABOMINATION i hate you wholeheartedly

I received a question asking me how I would describe the colour of a metal in an image given. As someone with daltonism (red-green colour-blindness) you can see how this could be a problem for me. So I was forced to take my chances and guess. Surprise surprise I ended up getting it wrong. Whenever it gave me a 2nd chance, which I also failed, it just gave me variations of the same question over and over. Eventually, I decided to give up. This shows how non-inclusive this website is. Instead of making me more comfortable with my school work, its managed to do the complete opposite and actually added to the stress I'm already facing. Absolutely appalling.

If there was an option for -100000000 stars then I would 1000000% rate this for this horror app that the developers call Sparx Maths. This horror makes me mentally retarded to the point that zombies do not wanna eat my brain anymore. This app brain washes teachers so that they become satan worshippers. I don't know why they swear it's the best app ever when it's like a trashbag disguised as a homework platform for 5 yr olds. Only God knows why the developers created this execution device. Everytime I open Sparx, it flashes my eyes with these impossibly torturous questions, and it forces you to complete all of it. Don't get me started with videos bc there is NO way I'm gonna watch "teachers" yap abt how to work out the 7 stages of hell. After watching the video, I still don't know how to figure out the code to escape the house of horror. This app literally possesses you. You will go through the 5 stages of grief. This app made my PC turn into a stove it's like hell entered into my PC. This hell of an app makes you piss tears. This is my last warning, do NOT enter this house of horror or else you will never come out the same again.

If I could go back in time and unsee Sparx, I would. This website has traumatised me in ways I didn’t even think were possible. You think it’s just maths? Just a few questions? No. It’s psychological warfare dressed up as “personalised learning.” It starts off calm — a sweet little log-in screen that gives you false hope. Then boom. It throws question after question at you, and just when you think you're done, it says "you must complete EVERY task to finish your homework." I blinked and somehow 3 hours had passed. I missed dinner. I missed sleep. I missed life. The worst part? The XP lies. You do 40 minutes of work, get 3 XP, and the system acts like you’ve been gifted gold. For what?? For typing in every single step of my working out perfectly or being sent back to the start like some cursed video game? My confidence in maths has been crumbled like a dry biscuit. I’ve cried real tears because of this platform. My weekends are no longer mine. My soul is trapped in a never-ending loop of "You must finish Compulsory, Target, AND XP Boost." I'm not a student anymore — I'm a SPARX prisoner. So yes. One star. Only because zero stars isn’t an option. If you value your sanity, your time, and your will to live, stay away. You’ve been warned. 😭🧍‍♀️🧃 (P.S. I now flinch every time I hear the word “XP.” Thanks for the trauma.)

This is just awful. As a student I do NOT have time to be dealing with this. I'm good at science and maths but it's just so tedious and long. Half the questions aren't even useful in the maths lessons we actually do. Don't even get me started on bookwork checks. I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO BE WRITING DOWN ALL MY ANSWERS. I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THAT. The sheer number of times I have cried or one of my mates has called me crying is actually insane. It doesn't even make me any better at maths. If anything it makes me worse by drowning my braincells in my own tears. This should be considered a form of torture and isn't worth it. It says it sets half an hour of homework when in reality it sets three quarters of an hour to an hour of homework. I'm not even slow or bad at maths, I regularly get perfect scores on exams but Sparx is just completely different. It seems impossible.
