It is very booooooring Zzzzzzzzzz. It drains all my creative juices from my nose I don’t know why but I get a runny nose every time I use it and then my brain falls out causing me to forget everything I learnt this is a problem I need my brain please help me and update your app it’s farting awful

The most awfully dull, resilience-depleting app developed in the history of burdensome apps, designed to essentially “elevate your learning abilities”. Well, I think it achieves quite the opposite - a tediously difficult and time consuming task denoting from any joy or happiness I once felt. I struggle to simply undertake any other weekly task I have to do, whether that be literally getting through my school day or completing other pieces of homework, as the dreaded realisation consumes me that what is usually a decent week will end in the deepest pits of hell.. sparx maths. An utterly useless waste of time, lacking efficiency and rather focusing on ensuring our answers fit into the most structured and ineffective boundary imaginable… to make the possibility of anyone getting the question correct slim to nothing. To whoever created such a ghastly app, I hope you realise the existential dread and horror you cast over my every week, and I hope each and every repetitive hour I spend suffering on sparx, you also suffer - significantly worse… your curse shall not be forgotten.

Horrendous service, took the life and soul out of hegarty maths.

I don’t even know where to start. Sparx Maths is the worst thing ever invented. Every time I open it, I feel my soul leave my body. The bookwork checks? Yeah, those evil little traps DELETE YOUR PROGRESS if you make ONE tiny mistake. Like seriously?? I spent ages writing everything down like they want, then BAM – nope, try again, back to square one. Thanks for wasting 45 minutes of my life, Sparx. And don’t get me started on the questions. They expect you to be some kind of maths wizard. My teacher acts like I can just "figure it out" – bro, I’m still trying to remember what a factor is and you want me to do algebraic fractions in my head?? Because of Sparx, I missed my daily Fortnite grind and lost my streak. My squad is mad, I’m mad, my whole week is ruined. I used to be happy. Now I wake up in cold sweats hearing the sound of Sparx loading. This app is TORTURE. It makes me want to rip my eyes out, snap my pencil in half, and throw my Chromebook into a volcano. Whoever made Sparx is not just evil – they are the final boss of evil. Like, Darth Vader and Voldemort are scared of this guy. 0/10. Would rather clean my room and do chores than suffer through Sparx again.

genuinely so straining on students who already are under enough pressure with gcses it adds to this by being a deppression inducing sight that can take sometimes up to 3 hours to complete one piece of homework it is absolutely ridiculous that this sort of sight is allowed to be used by schools

Why do schools want to torture kids the app’s owners literally said himself that it was mad for torturing kids if I could I would give it 0.01 star.

This app sucks! Instead of helping children learn it crushes their self esteem and ruins their lives. I just don’t get how my school could force me to withstand this torture for 2-3 hours a week! Let’s take a Quick Look at Sparx in a nutshell, shall we? We suffer through six, long,tiring hours of school, get home, suffer through another 2-3 hours of homework that we don’t want to do on an app that is more fitted for crime committees under questioning. This app is designed to create depression by emphasising shortcomings, picking out every single tiny wrong detail. It breeds negativity to reduce self confidence and ultimately ruins our lives. This should be illegal. This is diabolical. This is evil. I hate it.

This review is directed personally to Colin Hegarty himself. Mr Hegarty, this is in no way meant to be offensive or personal to you but letting that evil demonic company Sparx take over Hegarty maths is probably one of the worst decisions you could have made ever from a business standpoint. Hegarty maths had a perfectly fine interface and I'm pretty sure it didn't have nearly the amount of negative reviews that Sparx does, so why the hell did you need to let those freaks take over and completely ruin everything you worked for?? Do you see these reviews? My school doesn't even make us do Sparx anymore and has made us swap over to mathswatch because of how bad it is. You know it's dire when a school would rather use that hell of a website over sparx. The only thing you can even do at this point to save the situation is to shut down Sparx somehow but that would only make it worse because you would probably lose money, so you truly dug this hole yourself. You had made such a name for yourself in the maths world and had such a good reputation for your website only to throw it away for such a downgrade... #BRINGBACKHEGARTYMATHS!
