As someone who’s a victim to all of the Sparx Torture Trilogy™ devices, this one is by far right behind Reader by how boring and long it feels. I don’t know about the others that begrudgingly do the homework like me, but I’m given around 6 tasks (excluding flash cards) per week, and it really doesn’t help that there are 10 BLOODY QUESTIONS per task. Some of the questions are easy, with having to type in a word or select options, but there are a few that are in the style of exam questions, and these can be hard a lot of the time. Also, there is literally no need for 10 questions per task, as some of the questions are very similar to previous ones but with small tweaks. Yes, repeating the questions and answers to a topic can be very helpful for learning something new in a lesson, but the questions in Sparx Science are of stuff I’ve already learned. The flashcards are okay though. So please, if you want to improve this homework website, shorten down the tasks a bit and don’t make it so long.

It's better than sparx maths ( not that that's very hard to do ) but it's still a horrendous abomination that the world needs to be rid off. The only reason I gave it two stars rather than one is simply because you're not stuck doing the same question over and over again since it has an I don't know button unlike in maths, and that's probably the only thing it has going for it. I pity those who are assigned it

no. just please no. gcse student here about to go into year 11, sparx science would be not that bad if the EXPLAINATIONS MADE SENSE. please save your students, don’t invest.

As a student, I find some of the features from this useful, but the majority is quite useless, annoying and time consuming. I think that Sparx Maths is almost a sweet spot in terms of homework, but this is really poor. The idea of "flashcards" is good, but the execution on this website is really lacklustre. It seems to randomly decide what it thinks I need to work on, and gives me related flashcards multiple times, eating up time and energy, even though I know for a fact that a certain topic is one of my strongest. These flashcards really ruin the experience of homework. People in other reviews who say it causes mental issues and "asthma" really need to grow up, as it's their own fault that they aren't able to plan out their time in order to complete homework. Also, schoolteachers, if you are thinking of using this, please ensure that the topics are completely related to what your students have been doing in classes, and do not rely on this website to "teach" students ideas that they should be learning from teachers. this is not a helpful website, its not even the book tests or whatever they're called , its the fact that they'll give unrelated videos o the topic which does nottttt help

Firstly for anyone who is mad at me for rating it 2 instead of 1 I just want to say it is a great revision tool. now on to the bad part.The vids are garbage and do not help and tones of times I got the question right and said it was wrong and in random places there is /N for no reason. when I started in year 5 I thought is weas fun but now it is soul sucking work and I celebrate when it is done it is a crime this had not been banned yet.

If thay dont know an ansew thay don't know you can't force it ok the kids do enough work at school nevermind at home

I believe that while sparx science is not a very good website (mostly due to poor AI marking and questions that stretch you too far), I will be rating this higher than sparx maths due to two simple facts: no bookwork checks and assistance given to you after you fail twice. This is better than sparx maths as it only offers 3 swaps per homework which is not nearly enough if you are getting 5+ tasks and are not the brightest in the school. I believe that sparx maths is flawed in that way but i digress. My main point is that sparx science should include an AI capable of marking more widely as i have made countless ‘mistakes’ in my homework that are clearly unfairly marked. As well as this, there should be informative videos on the tasks you are about to do which are easily accessible. With these additions, though challenging to follow through, are doable and can be a great addition to your platform. Also please re-add the trustpilot for sparx maths and sparx reader so that the 1 star reviews don’t spill over to here. If anyone believes i have misjudged this site please let me know.
