As a computer scientist, this genuinely pains me. I've seen some truly awful websites, but Sparx Maths easily ranks among the worst. There are countless ways they could improve it, yet they don’t bother. The platform is riddled with bugs, making it a nightmare to use. At this point, I have to wonder—are the developers severely underpaid, unpaid entirely, or does a development team even exist?

sparx should not be used in any schools due to the immense stress and hatred people have because of it and it should get deleted from everywhere around the globe which is why i would rate it a 0.00000000000000000001

Sparx maths is the reason my parents hate me it is a useless piece of s**t and does not deserve to be in schools. I would rather run over my computer than say I like sparx maths

Sparx science (and maths and reader, although you can no longer review those due to the SURPRISING INFLUX OF BAD REVIEWS - I wonder why...) is one of the worst systems for homework to be created. The idea of needing to reach 100% to be marked completed - especially when it's set to be challenging for the student - is just a way to increase over-perfectionism, anxiety and fear of failure in children. Not only this, but Sparx actively encourages schools to hand out detentions for this. This is horrifying - detentions have been proven to not aid learning and give the child negative associations with school and putting effort in. All in all, a terrible system. Half the time it's the idea of a 'challenge' is giving a year 2 rocket science. Sometimes the answers will not be correct, and there is no report button to file a complaint for that. Bookwork checks are unnecessary, with the level or work set there is no way a student is doing that in their head or just taking a screenshot of the answers. Anyways, the one star given is mostly as an apology, because I think there are some people on the developers that genuinely want kids to have access to education resources. I hope the team keep trying, but abandon this method.

Sparx science.... i cant remeber a time when the 0% didnt haunt me every thursday... i hate my life after sparx, HELPME PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I HATE THIS APP SO MUCH 0/10 not worth the trouble
