I purchased a new 7' x 16' Rock Solid Cargo enclosed trailer from Southern Trailer Depot in 2018 and could not be more pleased. I did my research ahead of time and knew exactly what I wanted the trailer to contain in features and benefits. I contacted three other trailer dealers/companies as well but hands down Southern Trailer Depot was the best and worked with me to evaluate other options for me to consider as well. I am very pleased with the trailer itself and the sales process working with Southern Trailer Depot and did not feel one bit of pressure or pushiness as some others exhibited. I would highly recommend this company to my family, friends or others who are looking to purchase a new trailer.

1. The office waiting area is too small; when customers start engaging in conversations it gets real loud and you cannot hear the front desk person to complete your business. 2. Though it was a busy day for Southern Trailer, this is our first trailer purchase and the yard staff assumed we were savvy in docking to and hooking up our trailer. We had to ask for assistance to ensure it was hooked up correctly and felt very uncomfortable having to do so. This should be part of customer orientation—which there was none. 3. Once we drove the trailer home (to Virginia) we noticed one of the fenders had some sort of spillage on the top that would not come off; similar “goo” is on the upper, back, driver-side of the trailer; the roof of the trailer is not painted, just a rough waterproofing and taping—which may be how they are sold (.?); the tongue piece that the trailer chains are hooked to is already rusted with no paint/protection fm the elements: and the fold down ramp already had a crack in the wood going fm length of the wood horizontally left to right (hopefully this unnoticed imperfection until trailer reached destination will contain itself and not crack in two). 4. The purchase experience with Jerry and the front desk person check-in was spot-on and they were very helpful. 5. Overall the price was great for the quality received (other than the above-mentioned). 6. Other aspects and features of the 2018 TA 6x12 enclosed trailer offered were exceptional.

Ennis was great to work with. He's highly knowledgeable, and made recommendations that made my decision to buy from him quite easy. Ennis deserves 5 stars for sure! The people at the factory where i picked it up from were quite pleasant and helpful, especially the girl in the office! The reason why my rating is less than it should be is the general quality, or i should say WORKMANSHIP of the finished product. That in my opinion deserves 3 stars. As a business owner, I take pride in the work i do, and it seems that whoever assembled my trailer, was in a hurry. I drove to Georgia from Ohio to pick up my trailer from the factory and was excited to see it completed, but needed to get on the road for my long trip back to Ohio. Looking in my mirrors, I saw the fenders sticking out between the two tires, and thought that they could've been bent down. Upon arriving home, i found a few screws holding the panels on, missing or broken. Most panels were quite distorted from how they were screwed together creating an "oil canned" look. Caulking was gapped and not sealing in some spots, tail light was not secure and needed to be popped back in. Now i know i should've inspected the trailer with more scrutiny so that these things could've been addressed and repaired before I left, but i guess I just assumed that the factory had some kind of inspection/quality control standards. I understand that things happen, and things get missed, but this just seemed like a lot of carelessness. I bent my fenders strait, and will address the other issues. They are minor repairs. Overall I am satisfied with the trailer and its features. It tracks well, the brakes, lighting, electrical all work as expected and the price was exceptional. I saved quite a bit by buying it from Southern Trailer Depot, and would buy from them again. Next time I will inspect it a little better. The way that Ennis handled my order, I'm sure he would've handled my concerns with excellent results! It's worth buying your trailer from these people!

Transactions were good. Ennis very easy to work with and pick up was smooth. Only issues were a back marker light was not securely mounted and had to reattach to work. Side door would not open all the way due to for frame not straight.
