Unusual way of doing business
Small purchase, less than $100 as a trial to see if we wanted to buy in quantity. Processed our credit card as approved. They then came back saying they needed front and back copies of both my credit card and drivers license. I complained that front and back copies of the card and drivers license reveals too much personal information and subjects me to fraud given that the demand was outside of a secure site. I canceled the order. They said they would post a credit to my credit card account. Have never encountered this business practice. I have no idea if the product is worth buying.

As previously discussed in our email communication, due to online fraud we do have procedures in place to ensure purchases that come through with a bill to - ship to mismatch are legitimate, to not only protect our company, to also protect our customers. I had previously apologized and asked if there was another route of verification you were comfortable with, you adamantly refused, and canceled the order.
