SoundCloudReviews of soundcloud.com

SoundCloud is a good alternate music streaming platform for me. It doesn't have as many songs as Spotify or Amazon Music does, but I use it, because SoundCloud has a lot of rap mixtapes on there, which is something that a lot of mainstream music streaming devices don't have. If you're a fan of rap music, I'd totally use SoundCloud for mixtapes. Also, the website is kind of a mess and it's really annoying searching for one song. For example, if I look up "Her Song" by MGK, it'll show me a lot of his mainstream music and I have to search for that one specific song by scrolling for a few minutes.

The smoking ads just make me want to smoke just to make them shut up because I’m tired of hearing that stupid crap 1,000 times an hour

Customer support sends generic copy+paste emails to serious inquiries... the website is poor for handling your subscription settings. Great website, just stick to the free version and you won't be disappointed.

Dirty horrible people. Sign you up. Give you no obvious way to unsubscribe. 2 HOURS worth of phone calls to my bank trying to explain this - thankfully, by the end of it, a customer service advisor who understood my plight. AVOID SoundCloud like the plague. They don't even offer 10% of the music that other decent streaming services offer. Horrible experience. Sign up on mobile. Try to unsubscribe. IMPOSSIBLE. Dirty dirty dirty company.

Their customer support is toilet I tried to change the card they were charging - twice. I thought the change was made but it kept billing the old card. I was lucky enough to have automatic payments set up to avoid a default on a card I was not expecting a charge on. To change the card I used, I decided to cancel my Pro subscription and re-enable with the correct card. When I tried to do this, the price went up by £24 a year. When I contacted customer support I got a combination of autoresponses to non-relevant knowledgebases, or support people basically telling me to eat faeces and pay the increased price. Even though this tool is essential to music promotion and brand building I still refuse to renew after this customer experience. Go screw yourself, Soundcloud

Very accessible, and easy to post music on here, and I haven't any major issues with it at all. Not too sure about the upgrading subscription, which gives more hours for to post music, as I use the basic Soundcloud, which gives only a few hours of uploading. There are a few fake profiles that do follow you from time to time, but they are easy enough to block, and it's a good platform to promote your music, and there is plenty of music to explore that's out the spectrum of the mainstream music business.

Disgusting how you can subscribe from a phone but cant cancel soundcloud go from your phone... high recommend spotify over this horrible app.

Great library but too much adverstising. I get the need for monetising the platform but you went too far with the free version and ruined the user experience. Sad
