Do not sign up with them, they will ring you up every chance they get without any background or explanation, then give you no option to remove your card from the account. You cannot call and speak with someone regarding billing issues you have to email them and they will get back to you within 48 to 72 hours, what a joke. They're super scummy and scammy, supposed to be there for stress relief, and all they did was add more stress to my life. Find a better site, they're out there.

You still have not credited my account with the $119.00 that was taken from my checking account on 7/25/24. I have requested that this be taken care of at least three times and it still has not been resolved. I have not heard a response regarding these concerns. My provider, Linda Herbert is also aware of this issue. Please resolve this issue. I should only have been charged a total of $36 total for the three sessions I had with Linda Herbert.

Sondermind has affordable sessions with, in my experience, decent professionals. The business operates on hidden fees, which are not made known to you during your signing onto Sonder and making appointments. I was billed 15 dollars for my first appointment, and thought that was the appointment cost. But actually, they just made the extra 85 dollars bill much later, and were actually charging me more more in random fees above what the cost of the sessions were. By the time I noticed, I was hundreds of dollars lost to this service, which was broadcasted as 15 dollars. This is dishonest practice, and they have lost a customer. I do now see why it is "cheap" at first glance. It isn't cheap.

As with others who have taken the time to write a review, I've had billing issues that are yet to be resolved. You can't speak to anyone, and when you do, they aren't in the billing department and cannot help you. I've been overcharged, and they continue to overcharge me without resolve. How is this a good business practice to take my money that isn't owed to them? I've called, emailed several times, and I'm still being overcharged for my sessions. I've now decided to cancel my upcoming therapy due to this, and will not go back. I can't even remove my credit card on file without replacing it with another one! My therapist provided a good service, but their business practices as an organization is very unprofessional and not "customer-minded".

I have used two Sondermind therapists beginning in February of 2024. On April 23, 2024 I received a reply from my first therapist's inquiry to Sondermind's inattentive billing practices. They quoted a national outage at that time and that they would be billing very soon. Today (August 1, 2024) we received the apologetic email from Sondermind ... I look in my insurance portal and end of June and July claims were processed. There are 16 sessions from February through beginning of June unbilled. HOW DOES A MENTAL HEALTH OUTFIT GET AWAY WITH MAKING THEIR PATIENTS FEEL WORSE???? SONDERMIND HAS MASTERED IT! STAY AWAY FROM THEIR THERAPISTS ... MAYBE THEY'LL FIND A BETTER PARTNERSHIP THAN SONDERMIND!!!! NEXT UP YELP REVIEWS ... THEN TO THE INSURANCE BOARD IN ARIZONA AND COLORADO.

I am appalled by Sondermind’s unprofessional, uncaring, over-billing mistakes and ‘excuses’. They make it as hard as possible to actually ‘speak’ to anyone as they prefer everything be done in written form thru their website. I only saw my therapist 4 times this year and have bank acct proof of all my payments. Sondermind was already ready and set to go to withdrawal more unauthorized money from my personal account regarding ‘upcoming’ therapist visits I had not even scheduled!!!! I cannot tell you the level of frustration and unprofessionalism it caused me to finally get my issue rectified! I am still ready to have my personal attorney file for poor business practices litigation should I experience any further problems with Sondermind. I contacted my therapist today to inform her of my issue. She informed me that MANY of her other clients have contacted her with similar issues. WARNING!!! Saw a therapist that used Sondermind for almost a year. Everything was fine until they stopped billing me for sessions I was going to and I didn't notice. Then after I stopped going to therapy, all of a sudden I had weekly charges from Sondermind from sessions months back. Including them charging me for 3 sessions all at once, totaling over $100. I sent SO many billing requests online to spread out the charges or re-schedule them or set up a payment plan. I never got a response. I tried to call them and there is no way to talk to a human or leave a message. Absolutely terrible customer service. I will never see a therapist that uses this site again.

I set my mom up for appointments per her Kaiser provider. I made sure to pick a provider on SonderMind that accepted Kaiser. The account required a credit card be added to even set it up. You cannot edit or remove cards once they're added. There's no real customer service. The "contact us" is a message system that's supposed to answer via email with 24-48 BUSINESS hours but never does. When my mom had technical difficulties logging into ger first appt they charged her a $105 missed appt fee and there was nothing to be done about it. Over the course of less than a month she attempted 3 appts, only had 1 and it was cut short at 30 minutes and largely unhelpful. But she's been charged over $300 for supposed missed appts! She's low income and cannot possibly afford this type of expense for NOTHING. With no technical support, customer service or even empathetic provider this company is not legit.
