I can't begin to describe the nightmare that was staying at this unit. On check-in, some of the numbers on our keypad didn't work. We reported it and they gave us a new code using the working numbers, which was fine. We figured it was a temporary fix, but they were fine to leave it. So when the keypad stopped entirely two weeks later, we couldn't leave our unit for three days because we wouldn't have been able to get back in. On two separate occasions, maintenance workers just walked into our unit without even knocking--at one time my young daughter was mid-dress. She had nightmares for a week. They have actual LISTENING DEVICES plugged into the units. I unplugged what I found (they were screwed in--clearly designed to be neither noticed or removed) but who knows what other shady things we couldn't find. I tried to get in touch with management to discuss these issues, and on EIGHT SEPARATE OCCASIONS I was promised a call back from management, and not once did it happen. BEWARE THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

The company that rents this place, Sonder, made the whole process of checking into our room impossibly difficult. First, they didn’t supply the check-in information three days before the check-in date as promised. Then, when we contacted them requesting check-in information, they simply ignored our questions and directed us to use their app. I was dumbfounded by the number of hoops I had to jump through using their app. They made me take mug shots of my face from three different angles, along with uploading photos of the front and back of my driver’s license. What a terrible invasion of privacy. I have been using Airbnb for years, and I have never had to provide such confidential information in order to get my room. And to add insult to injury, their app was impossibly difficult to use. That is, we basically had to stumble through the whole process haphazardly, because the instructions were cryptic at best. Their communication was also the worst I have ever experienced. They promise a one-hour turn around, which actually ends up being many hours later. To make matters worse, they didn’t even answer all of our questions, but instead provided pre-packed responses. Now let’s talk about the room. Retrieving key fobs and getting to our room was like solving an escape room puzzle and then walking through a maze. The room itself was very clean, but it was a terrible value based on the cramped size. Having to use our cell phones to watch TV is outrageous considering the amount of money we paid. They could have at least provided basic cable. Lastly, the patio was disgustingly dirty. It took me 15 minutes to get the many layers of dirt off the chairs and table.

We rented an Airbnb for about a week, I use airbnb alot but this booking turned out to be via sounder, which seems to be an agency with thousands of properties..they make you download their app and then everything is really difficult, checkin took 4 hours with sonder, you need a separate app for everything. Sonder made it really quite stressful, makes me wary of using airbnb in future.

DONT STAY WITH THESE GUYS Worst experience I’ve ever had Shower was broken, light were broken, sink was dirty when I arrived. Their customer service is absolutely horrific, had to cycle through multiple reps, one of which pretty much just said “can’t help you” and then ended the chat.

The Sonder property in Ft. Lauderdale at 300 SW 1st Ave (Riverwalk) | 1BR (Society Las Olas) is deafeningly loud well into the night. It is located above a massive outdoor bar, party scene and in the vicinity of several other popular bars and restaurants. The noise disclaimer used by Sonder should be far more explicit. It should warn guests not to book the property if they value their sleep. It's insanity.

The apartments are fine, but the customer service is non existent. There is a number that you can call or text 24/7, but you just get through to a central customer services that I think is probably outsourced to India or somewhere similar. They have no ability to actually help with your issues. There is no way top speak to someone that actually has anything to do with the building you are in. I asked several times to be called by someone on the ground. It never happened. I have dealt with some terrible companies, but this is one of the worst. Appalling.

Worst customer service I have been experienced. My room had multiple issues, broken blinds, broken door, noisy neighbors, The best is basically a futon mattress, blocked off assigned parking. When contacting customer support they wouldn't do anything. Ended my chat session without resolving the issues. I asked for a refund on my remaining nights, and they refused. I left and checked into a hotel and got stuck with a bill for four nights.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Booked through Airbnb and next step of verification even though paid in full is totally inefficient and does not work. Wasting days at a time having to send license front and back plus do biometrics that are not being taken which I do not want to do anyway, and cannot get a code to get into my room.
