We received great help from Dr. Makeda Turner from the spring 2024 through the fall 2024 application process. Dr. Turner helped us develop the list of target and reach schools, which was immensely helpful. While we had a list of schools, Dr. Turner helped us sift through the schools, offered insights on schools we should remove from the list, and suggested other schools we had not thought about to add to the list. As for the actual application process, the insights on essay structure and intellectual positioning were particularly critical. Dr. Turner provided a steady hand throughout the process, from spring 2024 (with a focus on strategic steps to take in the summer) throughout the fall application process.
