I placed my order on December 5th. It has been 11 days any my order is still in limbo. I have reached out to customer support multiple times and they have completely ignored me. It would be one thing if they would just some form of acknowledgement but there have been no replies to my emails or attempts to use their chat function. I have filed a dispute with my bank. I will never buy anything from Sol de Janeiro again. They are truly a garbage company.

Placed an order on 6/11, received an email stating it shipped on the 13th. I sent several emails requesting the status of my order, i received no response until i opened a case with Paypal. There was confusion as to when the package shipped and they took no responsibility to see that I received products they have received payment for. Blamed the delay on the mail which they said they can't control. Today is 6/24 and I still have not received my order. Extremely poor customer service. BEWARE!!!

I had the same experience it seems many others have had with this company. Never received my order from May 7th. Sent multiple emails and tried to message through fb messenger. No response. I turned them into the BBB and magically got an email back. Said they shipped out a replacement order which the tracking would never update for. At this point I just want my money back but that doesn't seem like it will happen either. I have purchased so many of their products through Sephora with no issues, but that will never happen again! There is no number to call for customer service. They won't respond to my emails anymore. The number listed on their Instagram account is a hoax. I don't understand how people continue to purchase from them.

I placed an order with this company 'Sol de Janiero' 4/30/22. On 5/2/22 I received a "CELEBRATE Brazilian Beauty is headed your way' email. Got a shipping link for USPS which re-directed me to DHL. Clicked on the link with a tracking number that only gave me 5/5/22 date with an ! mark highlighted in red and the word "Exception' also highlighted in red. I gave them about three days, then I tried their chat icon on their site...no response. Since then I've emailed them x3....no response. I found a listed phone # for them on Dunn & Bradstreet 6467915095. Called...no response. I personally find their lack of response rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful. Today I just want my payment back and I do not want their product. I find this company to be useless and untrustworthy. I know we are living in a time of lawlessness and there seems to be no repercussions for unlawful business practises. However, I intend to take this complaint further since this company appears to me to be dishonest. I only gave this business 1 star because it appears to be the requirement to leave a review otherwise they get zero star. My order # is 1146894, a real purchaser and not a robot.

I recently ordered the infamous bum bum cream and the shower gel for the frist time ever and though it's a splurge as many states due to the price it seems ok. I then went ahead and ordered 2 of the bum bum scrub and received the jars nearly 1/2 empty. I have been trying to contact customer service from the day I received the product 5/6/22 and have yet to hear back from anyone 5/11/22. How can a company that seem to be very popular have no customer service presents. They give away product to get raving reviews and then ignore their paying one's. This is very unacceptable. I paid too much money to get 1/2 empty products and need a refund or a new jar sent out to me. You see nothing but great reviews on thir site. I tried going to post my review and as yet to find a way how to do so. REALLY SHAMEFUL

The below reviews are correct when they say that there is no one in the customer service department. I ordered the new Beja Flor cream for $50 and two weeks later it still has not left the factory. I sent 3 emails and wrote on their insta posts (since apparently their social media does reply to those who say nice things), but utter silence when addressing my order. Do yourself a favor and don't order from this site because it may just end up a being claim with your credit card company.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I purchased products from this company when the package arrived I'm missing the shampoo and conditioner. Your only way to communicate is via email and chat feature. So now ive sent 7 emails and 6 chats and no one has responded. I used the Bum Bum cream which really seems like a good product but since you dont take care of your customers I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM YOUR COMPANY!!

They have 2, TWO, reps. In a year's time, 5 emails have gone unanswered. It's pointless to have a company that RELIES on customers if you can't provide customer service. You get better service from shady Chinese retailers. At least they respond. I feel pretty convinced that the 2 reps they have pictured on their site don't even exist. They look like stock photos from the internet.
