bad products - nothing worked for me and not worth the price.

Bum bum cream has been reformulated. Different texture, takes ages to run in the skin. Used to be light peach colour, now it’s pale dirty yellow and doesn’t have anymore that nice smell. Now smells like corn/ vegetables! Shame another nice product was destroyed. Another greedy company changes nice product for cheap one and want to sell as the one it used to be! Won’t buy again and recommend you to stay away from this awful reformulation!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an issue with my order because USPS marked my package as delivered, but I never actually received it. Unfortunately, this was a shipping issue and completely outside of Sol de Janeiro's control. I contacted their customer service, and I was truly impressed by how they handled the situation. They responded quickly, treated me with kindness and understanding, and never made me feel like I was being ignored or blamed. After I opened a USPS investigation, they immediately arranged a replacement order without any hassle. Today I received my replacement package safely, and I couldn't be happier. Excellent customer service is rare these days, and Sol de Janeiro absolutely exceeded my expectations. They stood behind their customer even though the shipping problem was not their fault. Thank you so much for your professionalism, kindness, and outstanding support. I will definitely continue shopping with Sol de Janeiro and will happily recommend your company to others.

Products are great, Customer Service is HORRIBLE! I love the products and have placed many orders. However, I had one order with just one item missing. After multiple emails giving them the order number and explaining which item was missing I get an email asking me to take photos of the items I did receive. This is ridiculous. They are accusing me of lying without actually saying it it. I told customer service to forget it and I will NEVER order from them again. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AND I"M 68 YEARS OLD. BUYER BEWARE!

Purchased the perfume mist/body 62 spray a while back. Before it was even half way down the spray top stopped working and won’t spray the perfume very well now. For being a more expensive body spray this is not good enough. The product is not good quality for the money so think before you buy

I’m so surprised by the bad reviews here! I’m absolutely obsessed with them! I did put 4 stars only because they’ll have “bundle sales” with a 50ml spray & 50ml lotion. But it’s the EXACT same price if you just buy them separately any other day.. you DONT save anything on their bundle sales lol! Besides that annoying fact, their scents are absolutely epic, and their prices aren’t too bad yet. There’s worse prices out there. If def recommend them to anyone. But I still think 4 stars is fair.

I purchased a refill of the Bum Bum Cream, but when I opened it, the product was covered in a brown residue and had a strong, rotten smell. This made it clearly unusable. I contacted customer service, and while they acknowledged that the cream was not safe to use, they were unable to offer a replacement, refund, or even a voucher because they only ship within the US, whereas I am based in London. I find this very concerning. As a customer, I expect some level of protection when receiving a defective product. It does not feel fair that I am left out of pocket for something that cannot be used. Unfortunately, due to this experience and the lack of support, I will not be purchasing this cream again

I see that my experience with this company is not unique. I don't know what is wrong with their customer service department and why they are so dumb and rude. The fact that they actually tell customers that they have a 7 to 10 day shipping window before the item even ships and then it can take another week. This is 2026 where logistics is better than it is ever been in history. The fact that it would take 14 days to get from New Jersey to Detroit is wild. Maybe they should stop using DHS to USPS. They run their business like it is a mom and pop shop out of a garage. As someone who works in manufacturing I find it insane. Never ever buy from their website and if you buy on Amazon you actually can get it cheaper sometimes or at Sephora or Ulta. It's amazing to me that they're still in business I don't think that they would be if they didn't have other retailer selling their products. It's clearly a bunch of children that are running customer service and their logistics department. Always use PayPal to pay with them if you are going to use their website because then you can dispute it through PayPal and get better results. They give their fake auto responses.
