My laptop was in for repairs with HP. There was a possibility that the techs might have to replace the hard drive. I didn't have the disk for Quicken so I felt it was prudent to buy it. HP did not erase my programs so I have merely looked inside your packaging. I feel this was a good decision in case I might need to reload Quicken in some future time. The price was right too.
