Avoid this company like the PLAGUE!
Avoid this company like the plague. I’ve spent $2000 with them across 6 years. They locked my account for almost the last 2 years on and off due to a "Form 1583" requirement, which mind you, they've probably made me fill out 5 times in the 6 years. But it gets worse. They were charging me $10 a month for the plan + $30 a month for "storage" fee that I had NO WAY of canceling. So I did the notarized form, I gave my deed, my drivers license. That's literally what their system prompted, and I uploaded it. Next their wizard took me to a notarize process, the agent didn't ask me for a Deed, just for my ID, then we signed and delivered. Now i thought, phew, I can get my IRS mail and reduce the storage bill. NOPE. They canceled the several minutes I had access to my mail and system, and asked me to pay for a notarized form AGAIN because THEIR system screwed up. The biggest mistake I made probably in my professional career was hiring these guys. It is incredibly COMMON for them to charge you up the ass on storage fees and figure out a way to prevent you from canceling. It is a nightmare. Don't believe these other manufactured 5 star reviews, they give an incentive for them. Run away if you can!!!!! BIGGEST mistake I made was hiring these guys.

Hello, We’re sorry to hear about your frustrating experience and understand your concerns regarding the repeated Form 1583 requirements and the associated storage fees. We appreciate the time you’ve invested in using SnapMailbox over the past six years and would like to clarify why this documentation is necessary. The Form 1583 requirement is a USPS regulation that we are obligated to follow, rather than a policy established at our discretion. As a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA), SnapMailbox must comply with USPS identity verification and authorization requirements before we can handle mail addressed to a recipient. When mail is addressed to a business entity, that business must be properly listed and authorized on the Form 1583. Without the required documentation and acceptable identification, we cannot process mail addressed to that business in accordance with USPS requirements. We understand that you have already completed the notarization process and submitted supporting documents. However, if the business name is missing from the form or the identification provided does not meet USPS requirements, the submission cannot be accepted, even if other documents have been provided. Unfortunately, we cannot bypass these requirements, as we are obligated to comply with USPS regulations. Completing the Form 1583 correctly will help ensure that your business correspondence, including important IRS mail, can be received and managed through your account in accordance with these requirements. We recognize that repeating this process is inconvenient, and we sincerely regret the frustration it has caused. We also acknowledge your concerns regarding storage fees and account access. Please know that we are more than willing to work with you to review your billing concerns and explore possible options to address the charges and help prevent unnecessary storage fees moving forward. We understand the importance of having a fair and manageable experience, and we encourage you to reach out to us so we can discuss your concerns further. We would appreciate the opportunity to help resolve these issues and support you in continuing to use SnapMailbox for your business needs. Thank you for your feedback and for being a SnapMailbox customer over the years. We hope this clarification helps explain why the documentation is necessary and why we must adhere to these requirements. We value your business and hope to have the opportunity to improve your experience with us. Regards, SnapMailbox Support Team
