Mountain getaway

False advertising on check in time
We made reservations and according to the contract it says you can check in after 4 and that a code will be sent to your email AT 4pm the day of check in. However what they don't tell you is that it can be hours after 4 when they get to clean the cabin and actually let you into the cabin. We drive over 6 hours away thinking we were going to be able to get into the cabin at 4 with limited time to visit the town so we could freshen up for the evening. That was not the case. When I called and talked to someone he explained that the check in after 4 meant it was open ended. This was extremely misleading and we will never book with them again. Terrible way to start out what was supposed to be a fun filled birthday weekend with family.

As you may know providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and hearing we have fallen below that standard is something we like to address immediately. I can imagine that our inability to accommodate you at the normal check-in time was inconvenient. I hope you can forgive this inconvenience and not let it stop you from staying with us in the future. I hope the gift certificate that was given to you was enough to show our sincere apologies and we look forward to seeing your again in the future.

Beautiful views and cozy hide away
The view from the front balcony is beautiful and the area is so peaceful and relaxing. The decor is rustic and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. My husband and I had a great time at the cabin. We would have liked to have had a little cleaner of a cabin. There were lots of cobwebs along the banisters and in the Windows. The Windows were hazy and dirty. The lamp shades had quite a bit of dust on them. The hot tub could use some attention too, the cover over the filter is falling apart and doesn't stay over the filter and the water level was too high and we lost quite a bit of water when we got in. We reported a downed power line at the house below us and it was not fixed in the time we were there and made us a little nervous to drive by.
