Colonial Properties Cabin & Resort RentalsReviews of smokymtndreams.com

Everything from the booking, check-in staff, and quality of the cabin was fantastic. The pictures of the cabin were gorgeous but I lowered my expectation as I figured they were taken when new and that time and many rentals may have worn it out. Not the case at all! The cabin was lovely, clean, and well kept. The staff was helpful when I had trouble with the electronic signature process, and very very friendly at check in. Lovely area, lovely property, and I look forward to returning!

Great customer service and nice condo without breaking the bank.

Guided me successfully with signing papers on internet and assisted with giving me the best deal for our stay.

We haven't stayed in the cabin yet but online booking was a breeze.

They're very nice when you call. Helps with any questions you ask. Haven't had a bad experience in about 10 years.

The rental of this condo was easy and the staff was very friendly. I had a few questions and they were prompt and knowledgeable in their answers.

We stayed at Bear View in Gatlinburg. We had a last minute reservation but all in all it was a great weekend experience. There was a few things that needed fixed but it served our purpose. All I suggest is to fix the bed in the master bedroom and in the pullout sofa they are getting wore out. But all in all great weekend experience for me and my family we will definitely be staying again but Pigeon Forge will be our next destination to limit all the commute.

We are regular visitors to the Smoky Mountains. This however has been our first and last experience with Colonial Properties. Just Two hours before arrival time while my family and I were in the middle of terrible Chattanooga traffic on our way driving to Pigeon Forge we received a call that our cabin had been overbooked and sold out from under us even though we had paid for it many months and advance. We booked a two bedroom cabin near Dollywood, and the only option we were given just hours before arrival time was a condo in crowded Gatlinburg, hardly the relaxing experience we were looking for. No discount was given nor was an apology even given from the rude staff in the office. After speaking with Amy the manager. I was essentially told I was out of luck. I couldn't even get Dollywood tickets for my trouble. I picked up the phone and called Eden Crest a company that has great service and great cabins and one that I should have used all along they got me into a cabin that night and even made a follow up call asking us how the cabin was and if we needed anything. After all of this I asked to speak to Amy's boss Ben Hughes and have yet to receive a call back. Not a good experience and if I were you I would never select this company because they obviously don't care about customer service.
