Quick delivery, easy to install, retracts well. Only problem we have is we purchased it to block a baby/toddler from going up the steps but when our dog gets nervous she tries to scoot under it to escape upstairs and pulled the bottom anchor out of the drywall. I attribute this to us not using better anchors and not installing it into the stud but due to carpeting and the angle needed to install it this is the best we could do. Very nice to open and close while carrying a small child and I like that it retracts all the way for ease in carrying other items up the steps.

We have a more traditional baby gate (white bars) and this retract-a-gate. Def like the look of the retract a gate much more than the traditional ones. Much more clean and modern looking. We got it in white and love it.
