I would not even rate this parking company a one star if i didn’t have to. This is daylight robbery. I went into macdonalds to eat and have my breakfast and now been charged with a £60 parking fine. I ave no way to appeal as it doesn’t come up on the website, therefore the time is ticking down. There needs to be strict laws created for these parking companies they are disgusting. I wasn’t even there for 90 minutes which usually the set time and i have been sent a ticket. I also feel places like macdonalds shouldn’t have these parking companies on their sites. They are just as bad for taking part in this. This was the macdonalds in Harlington avoid at all costs

I have used this service twice. The first time was not too bad. Google Maps takes you straight to the location, but at first you feel like you’re in the wrong place — it’s an old, run-down farm in poor condition. At the counter, I was asked to pay an additional £5 per person for airport transport (something I hadn’t noticed in the terms and conditions, so it was an unpleasant surprise). The place itself was very dirty, so my car ended up covered in dust. That said, the shuttle service to and from the airport was quick and straightforward. Unfortunately, my second (and definitely last) experience was terrible. I accidentally selected the wrong start date for my booking — one day later than my actual flight. When I arrived, they couldn’t find my booking. Once I realized the mistake, I asked them to simply add an extra day, but they refused, insisting I had to make an entirely new booking. They were extremely inflexible, unhelpful, and rude. When I challenged their response, they even told me to leave. This company clearly has no understanding of customer service. If you check Google reviews, you’ll see that many other people have had similarly bad experiences and cars were damaged.

Uncaring, unprofessional, money grabbing ********* I appealed a parking fine on medical grounds. Even offered to provide photo evidence of my surgery that caused me to have to stop for 20minutes! We parked in a restaurant carpark that Google said was open but the staff chose to close early that day! None of this was accepted by smart parking on appeal. All we got was a threat of court! Disgusting company that are not even man enough to have a telephone number or a name of a person to deal with the public!! Pathetic.

These are just scammers by another name, a ticket for 60p turned into £60.00. because the ticket machines where not working, they have excellent photos of me entering their care park but don't show me trying to purchase a pay and display ticket for a few minutes. Of course their appeal process isn't digitised as smoothly as their super easy payment process.

Disproportionate fine for slightly overstaying parking accidently

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration regarding a £60 parking fine I received at the Whitefield Pets at Home car park. I visited your location under extremely difficult personal circumstances as I needed to have my dogs put to sleep. Due to the nature of the situation, I was present in the car park for over three hours. It is distressing to receive such a fine during what was already one of the worst days of my life.

Parked (as usual) to pick up a takeaway at the Roti in Norwich on 26/07 at 6.14 for a 6.15 collection, but had to wait until 6.30. No problem, but unknown to me smart parking had taken on the parking and sent me a £100 PCN. I appealed with proof of purchase of course, but it was rejected because I hadn't read the signage, which I didn't notice as it wasn't there the last time. I was going to appeal further to the IAS, but in their info thier judgement is only based on what is legal and nothing else. I asked for help from the owners, but had no reponse. What a joke and a scam, with no further legal representation I can take. Well, no more Roti for me!!

Terrible con! How are they still allowed to operate? Queued for the ticket machine in Willen lake so went over the 10 minutes grace period. Now I have a fine for £80. Wouldn’t accept the explanation and refused appeal.
