As others have pointed out, SiteJabber is a scam. They post or allow fake reviews and when the businesses contact SiteJabber to have the fake reviews removed, they refuse for free but offer "professional monitoring and removal services for a fee". There are legitimate sites out there, with real reviews from real customers, such as BBB, Trustpilot and others.

Fake reviews plague the site and admins are happy with them!! Instead their anti-fraud/scam "al-hole-rithm" seems to leave behind all the fraud and fakes instead of the real reviews!! Well done!!

They brought new revolutionary business model in the industry last 10 years. That is promoting negative or fake reviews and they get paid to remove the negative reviews. Do not waste of your time with Sitejabber review site. There are full of fake reviews and negative reviews in their website. If you have time to write or to read anything on SiteJabber review site, you better to look after your family and friends around you. That will make your life much better.

Deleted my review without warning for no reason. It never even appeared on the page. So I wasted my entire time with their site, joining and writing one out. After deleting the review, my account appeared to be compromised as well. I tried to log in, but it wouldn't let me and I refreshed on page of my username. It told me review was on gone, then that user didn't exist. When I tried to rejoin thinking it was glitched, I got an error. So annoyed. I hope this site is better.

More of the same -- typical review site leaning towards fake/negative reviews.

As a small business owner I am always looking for new solutions to grow our reputation and help build our marketing. SiteJabber contacted me about setting up a profile with them, big mistake! They are (without our consent) soliciting our customers and will still not explain how they are doing this. We are also getting competitors writing really unprofessional and clearly from a competitor. SiteJabber will not be around long because of better solutions like TrustPilot and Yelp.

As many others have noted, SiteJabber appears to be very dishonest. Add this experience to the pile: when I try to post a negative review for boingboing.net, it simply says "Processing" forever once I submit the form. Tried this multiple times. 500 errors. How convenient!

No customer service, no community rules that are regularly enforced, which allows libel to be published to their site, so it's no wonder there are apparently (from what I hear) multiple lawsuits the site is defending against at the moment. Review quality varies widely and for most sites it just seems like a place to rant against a website you don't like or had a bad experience with. Very few people go to this site just to post a positive review, even if they had a positive experience. Sitejabber is exactly what happens when you seem to have a good idea, but spend zero effort in policing your community or caring about your service.
