Having read all the negative reviews I want to share my own, so far VERY positive, experience. I was able to get connected to the right person in less than 3 minutes (almost unheard of in these post-Covid times!), she was able to access my long-dormant account and fix all the outdated info, then also helped me with other questions I had. So far, so very good. Fingers crossed.

I've been using Small Business Bank for nearly five years and the only issue I've faced, and it was only once, was in getting an acceptable picture of a very oddly shaped check. (I did eventually get it through). I've even had an occurrence of the bank contacting me directly on a Friday afternoon to let me know that there was an issue on one of the checks deposited - they wanted to let me know in case the funds would be needed immediately. That enabled me to redeposit immediately and all was good. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 ........ SBB no longer accepts money orders or bill pay checks by direct deposit and, instead, requires them to be mailed in. Not a huge deal since I rarely get those but, instead of a full refusal, the use of an automatic hold on those Items would have been much preferred.

Almost painless. My loan officer was very kind, understanding, then quickly worked to determine how she might help me. I had her full attention, until my business was completed. I felt quit comfortable as I was walked thru the process.

Not bad. So far everything works well. Customer service is friendly and responsive. Free checks too. 10 debit transaction per month required otherwise $4.95 monthly fee. Still reasonable.

After I sent in my documents I wasn't expecting to have to talk to anyone to finish setting up my account. I was hoping everything would be handled online when I had the time to spend rather being on the phone using time I couldn't afford. The representative was great and I did express that I didn't have much time, she assured me we could get this done in 15 minutes and true to her word it was over in 15 minutes. From there I had a few questions and concerns and I used the chat feature and email to reach out. Replies were fast and friendly and my questions were answered and issues resolved very quickly. I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service. I wish they had bank to bank transfer and that the website and app were more modern. The lack of bank to bank transfer and having to finish account set up by phone is what prevents me from giving this a 5 star rating. Mobile deposit works well, I recieved my debit card and free checks quickly. Overall I am glad I chose Small Business Bank and do recommend it to anyone with a Micro-Business.
