I thought it was a memory foam topper…
I thought it was a memory foam topper that was firm it's just flat and no support

I recently moved in with my sister and…
I recently moved in with my sister and her husband and they like to sleep at a much higher temp at night then i am used to. I was not sleeping well so i ordered this comforter and pillow duvet and I slept so well the first night I was able to use the set. It is so soft and cool to the touch. I was worried that it would not retain enough body heat and be to cold but that was not the case. I was able to cool down enough to sleep but not freeze.

Cooling aspect just didn't work
It was a well-made mattress pad, and if I just bought it for that I would give it a five-star review. However, I bought it specifically because it was titled a "cooling" mattress pad, and in that regard it failed completely. It actually made me feel hot. Might be nice in the winter, but really not what I was looking for.

Bought solely for cooling over a memory foam mattress. The effect is likely 2 degrees or less and not highly noticeable.
