Had the first generation, and they needed improvements that you have made! Love the wireless aspect. Makes it so much easier when I do in a deep sleep decide to turn over. Sound wise the depth is great, the lighter material as a warm sleeper makes all the difference. Love them!

Sleepphones work well for a short period of time and are very comfortable. However, the speakers fail frequently (I have had to replace them twice over the last year, and over the last 3 years, have had 4 speaker failures) and the battery life decays over time- my 1.5 year old wireless module battery life has decayed to ~7 hours From fully charged to flat.

Although my experience ordering and receiving the RunPhones® Effortless was straightforward with no hiccups, I am disappointed in the product itself. The supposed-to-be wireless charger does not charge the battery unless I completely remove the battery from the headband. This defeats the purpose of having a wireless charger. If I knew this were the case, I would have purchased the RunPhones® Wireless. Also, the RunPhones® Effortless only exerts music on one side of the headband. Having to listen to music in only one ear is not a pleasant experience for me personally.

Dear Terence, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you experienced! We have a few troubleshooting tips we can try to get this charging properly. When charging please make sure that the Bluetooth® module is turned off. When placing the Bluetooth® module on the charging base, please make sure that it is facing down on the induction charger. This means that when you feel it as it is charging, it should be a flat surface with the three buttons pointing toward the charging base. Also, the speaker plug on the module will need to be positioned on the opposite side of the micro USB port on the charging base. When positioned correctly, you will feel a magnetic attraction between the Bluetooth® module and the charging base. You might need to move the module a bit within the headband as the fabric / hook and loop opening might be interfering with the magnets. I definitely prefer the lack of cords, but the speakers themselves are very stiff, and hard to sleep on.

Finally! Here's a product that works for helping you to fall asleep but also for drowning out loud sounds in the night, like snoring, traffic and city sounds. I can't wait to use it on long airline flights to stream music or books. I purchased the wireless product. Awesome. Easy to use.
