Dear Trent, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you experienced! We would be happy to exchange the headband for a different size / type of material! If you could please fill out the warranty form found on our site and send it in with your headband, we will send you a new headband to insert your speakers into! Some of our customers do move the module to the front or side of the headband if they are back sleepers. When placing the Bluetooth® module on the charging base, please make sure that it is facing down on the induction charger. This means that when you feel it as it is charging, it should be a flat surface with the three buttons pointing toward the charging base. Also, the speaker plug on the module will need to be positioned on the opposite side of the micro USB port on the charging base. When positioned correctly, you will feel a magnetic attraction between the Bluetooth® module and the charging base.
