Hello! Our sincerest apologies that you are not satisfied with the product! The SleepPhones® products were constructed to minimize ambient noises. If you listen to music, you can camouflage outside sounds such as snoring. However, the product does not have any external equipment to eliminate noise. We market the product as noise blocking rather than noise canceling. Some of our customers listen to music to calm them which enables them to fall asleep faster, while reducing background noise. Many customers also listen to music all throughout the night and do find that it does help to block out their partner's snoring. Some of our customers, like yourself, use foam ear plugs in conjunction with their SleepPhones®. If doing this, we highly suggest listening to the product at a medium volume level as a high level could cause hearing damage if used for several hours. Having a snug fitting headband will prevent the headband from sliding and the speakers from moving out of place. We would be more than happy to exchange the One Size Fits Most headband for the XS Size headband to alleviate the issue you are experiencing. If you could please fill out the warranty form found on our site and send it in with the headband and copy of your receipt (in lieu of receipt, please indicate order SP25935), we will send you a new headband for you to insert your speakers into! Dear Michael, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you've experienced with the product! We would suggest possibly changing to a different size/fabric headband. A proper fitting headband will keep the speakers snugly in place without causing pain. We would also suggest trying the RunPhones® material. Our RunPhones® headbands are light-weight with moisture wicking properties to help keep sweat at bay while on the go or sleeping in the warm summer months. They are made of 95% polyester and 5% spandex. Many customers use them to sleep in instead of our Fleece or Breeze headbands because they are moisture wicking and the lightest of our three headband fabrics. Please know that the RunPhones® headbands come in the following three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large!
