Dear Robert, Our sincerest apologies for the difficulty you've experienced with the product! We would suggest possibly changing to a different size/fabric headband. A proper fitting headband will keep the speakers snugly in place without causing pain. We would also suggest trying the RunPhones® material. Our RunPhones® headbands are light-weight with moisture wicking properties to help keep sweat at bay while on the go or sleeping in the warm summer months. They are made of 95% polyester and 5% spandex. Many customers use them to sleep in instead of our Fleece or Breeze headbands because they are moisture wicking and the lightest of our three headband fabrics. Please know that the RunPhones® headbands come in the following three sizes: Small, Medium, and Large! You can find a copy of our sizing chart along with a measurement video to help you determine the proper size on our site at: http://www.sleepphones.com/customer-support/sizing Please note that the RunPhones® sizing is the lower of the two charts. If you could please fill out the warranty form found on our site and send it in with your headband, we will send you a new headband to insert your speakers into! Here is the link to the warranty page: http://www.sleepphones.com/warranty If you are unsure how to remove and reinsert the speakers you can find a demonstration video on our site at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqTVbLvjDNk In regards to charging the SleepPhones® Effortless module, when placing the Bluetooth® module on the charging base, please make sure that it is facing down on the induction charger. This means that when you feel it as it is charging, it should be a flat surface with the three buttons pointing toward the charging base. Also, the speaker plug on the module will need to be positioned on the opposite side of the micro USB port on the charging base. When positioned correctly, you will feel a magnetic attraction between the Bluetooth® module and the charging base.
