Good services but facilities lacking
I got a 50-minute standard massage. The customer service was great -- I had actually gone to the wrong studio because I'd accidentally booked at Midtown rather than Midtown West (let's just say I was getting this massage because it had been a very long week), but they moved my appointment to give me enough time to get over to the right place. And my therapist was lovely. But it was very odd to go into a standard, semi-upscale looking lobby and then be led up a dimly-lit stairway with "wet paint" signs all around. The massage room itself was chilly, especially the floor, which felt like unfinished concrete -- not a pleasant thing when you're disrobing. And the lighting was harsh and not-warm feeling, too. It was the first massage I've ever gotten where there was no music playing, which I actually found that I liked, but I could see how the silence might be off-putting to some. And at least there was silence during the massage itself -- shortly after the therapist left at the end, some sort of powertool noise started up in the near-distance. Overall, whatever time I spent dealing with a person was great, but the presentation of the company prepped me for a very different experience than I ended up getting, facilities-wise. I really had to concentrate to get myself into the right state of mind.

We are truly apologetic Alyssa for your sub par experience with our facilities. We are constantly taking feedback from our clients including updating our facilities and understand your concern with the current disarray of our recent renovations. It should have been mentioned that we would be going through this mini-face lift upon booking at this location. A member of our team will be reaching out to you shortly. We hope your next appointment with us will be of your standards.
